hey guys, has anyone seen the tv serie Flash Forward?

It´s great.

i've only seen one episode of the show... wasn't impressed by it

i thought of keeping up with the show. but after a while, it just didnt seem to catch me that much.

 

It's an okay show. the first episode was good, the following episodes put away my attention, so i stopped watching. but to compare this show with other shows, it's not that eye-catching and amazing.

 

but maybe if I was disciplined enough to continue watching, it might, after all, be a good show. :cool:

 

If i'm not mistaken, FlashForward is supposed to 'replace' Lost, after Lost finishes.

 

 

however, Lost is awesomic. :awesome:

 

I'm watching it. Ok, I have to admit that the main reason is JOSEPH FIENNES :awesome: that I love for many years now... but it's a good show. Nothing exceptionnal but good!

 

They'll start airing it again soon.. I saw they aired a 'recap' episode this week....

The 11th episode will be aired in the US today! :bomb:

I saw the pilot a few weeks ago and I liked it.

I also saw the decreasing viewers statistics... I hope they'll continue with the series nevertheless.

The cast is excellent and it seems like they changed the original book to a more interesting story.

 

The least it'll do is to keep me occupied until the third series of Ashes to Ashes will start in April. :dance: :dance: :dance:

It's kind of annoying and some parts are really awkward...but overall it's got me curious.

It's a very good show. I like it. :nice:

 

It's like a giant philosophical debate disguised as a thriller. So I guess I understand why a lot of people wouldn't get it right away or would wonder why it was so talky. But yeah, if you like stuff that actually deals with BIG QUESTIONS, then it's awesome. Still could pull a "heroes" and go downhill in a hurry, but for now it's one of the best most thought-provoking shows out there.

Oh yeah, and Dom is freaky! :uhoh: :wtf:

It's got decent acting and an interesting storyline. The events are well-placed and it keeps you hooked. But what prevents it from being a top show in my opinion is the directing is really awkward. Some moments are just really poorly done.

Aurelie, wow i didn't see that coming, haven't watched the episodes since the show returned but they are recorded. I don't care if you spoil it for me, I'll probably forget anyway when I start watching. so is this episode the 2 hr return or one of the 1 hr subsequent episodes where we find out this piece of info??

They started airing a 2h recap a few weeks ago but now, they continue the normal diffusion and what I've put under spoiler is episode 15. So the one that aired a few days ago in the US. ;)

I'll try to say this as vague as possible for those of you who haven't seen it. :)

I wonder if she's not faking it to know how much Simon is involved in this... :thinking: Cause she took a bullet that cost her motherhood :\ if she was indeed a mole, I guess (or rather hope!), that her teammates on the dark side would have shoot her elswhere?! :thinking:

Yes, they're playing with the audience all the time.

It could be that they've just not shown conversations of Janis with the others and that she's pretending to find out more about Simon.

His general behaviour in that office is so rude that it must make all of them suspicious.

And the others must have seen that autopsy report as well!

Mhmm, if Janis was a mole (which I don't hope, I like her!!) the person who shot her could have just aimed wrong or something...

But that scene was shown in a way that she had indeed been surprised by it! :thinking:

So I think she's pretending. Her "mean face" in the last seconds of the episode was just "too mean" if you know what I mean! :lol:

I like this show more than LOST (and no, it's NOT because my dear Joseph Fiennes is the hero :rolleyes: ) because they actually resolve things! Not just keeping adding mysteries like in lost :dozey: (which lost me XD)

 

But I heard that it might be cancelled cause the ratings were not good :confused: I hate US network sometimes, they always cancelled the best shows (like 'The Black Donnellys' :bigcry: )

Even straight after seeing a movie I usually can't tell you the character's names.

The problem is that it's aired on a huge network which 'think' all about ratings :dozey: If it was on cable it would be no problem, even with low rating, if a show has a good quality and 'smart', it's stays on air. Shows like Dexter wouldn't have survive on network like ABC, NBC ...

I've never heard about "The Black Donnellys"!

It was on air 2 years ago, it's written by Paul Haggis and Bobby Moresco, the duo that gaves us marvellous movies like 'Collision' and 'Million Dollar Baby'. The story was about 4 irish brothers in NY that got involves in the local mob. The show focuses on how they became the head of this mafia although they were good boys at first. The story telling is totally brilliant, it's narrated by a funny character who is locked in prison and interrogated by the police about the Donnellys brothers. So he tells the story as he want to, sometimes lying but despite some fun moments, it's dark and just heartbreaking... :bigcry: Very good acting and each episode is a mini movie. It has a 'The Departure' feeling in it. Sadly, it was too good and smart to follow, so it was cancelled after 3 épisodes aired, the rest was put on NBC website online... :angry: It was replaced by 'wedding crashers'...see :dozey: So there is no end to the show, it ends with a great cliffangher... But it's a must see!! This show blown me away! (and the music was very good too..Snow Patrol to end the 1 episode...T.T)
