i guess both of those bands do beat their drums over their charity work, but their intentions are good. the reason why we tend to here so much more about coldplays and U2's charity is because each band has a celebrity in it. whereas muse dont really have much of a celebrity status despite being a massive band.

I disagree, I think Thom Yorke is very vocal about his work with ENGOs, bloggins frequently about climate change, the Big Ask campaign, going to Copenhagen, etc.

nonono, he does do all of that stuff, but he isn't as public as Bono might be. Which I like.

For someone who hasn't been trained in singing (or any other instrument he plays) I think he does an amazing job on his vocals.

Well from what I've read in Muse's biography and seen/heard in interviews, he had one or two lessons when he was young but found it difficult to be taught so he just taught himself how to play by ear. I don't really think that counts as classically trained.

Which is why he can't read sheet music though he probably can now since he had to write Exogenesis. :)

But why should we mention him? We all know He's more talented than almost any other artist.

I don't think Muse and Radiohead can be compared ! They are on completely different levels. Radiohead is pure genius, their music is so brilliant that I can hardly find words. I think their music is above anything else ! Radiohead is like God in the music world lol

Muse, on the other hand, is just another rock band. Personnally, I don't like their music but I'm not saying they are bad. Appart from a few songs I enjoy, they are either annoying me or boring me.
