I think someone like Heath Ledger would've been good- but since that's not gonna happen, perhaps someone along the lines of Jared Leto? :thinking:

But the idea of making a mainstream Cobain film is just really fucked in the first place, he was far too introverted of a character to make a big budget blockbuster out of his life. His decisions and choices follow no real correlation, so trying to make a refreshing or intriguing story from a man with mental illness is always going to be disastrous.

 

Although I didn't enjoy it, the other Cobain film Last Days at least had a slow and vague enough pace for the audience to draw it's own conclusions on Cobain's life (Partly because they couldn't go into much detail of his life as it was un-officially based on Cobain).

That's a good point Reilly. Ray, Walk The Line, The Temptations, these music biopics all had happy endings. How the hell can a Kurt Cobain story end happily?
