April 8, 200323 yr wonderful words of homer... I am so smart, I am so smart, s-m-r-t ... I mean s-m-A-r-t. I bet Einstein turned himself into all sorts of colors before he invented the light bulb. I can't believe it! Reading and writing actually paid off! I don't want to go, so if he asks me to go, I'll just say, 'Yes!' I guess you might say he barking up the wrong ... bush. I hope I didn't brain my damage.
April 9, 200323 yr oh man! the simpsons is STILL brilliant TV! I like the one when Homer was stealing Groundskeeper Willy's retirement grease! haha! it was sooo funny!
April 9, 200323 yr Author The GREASE!! That was hilarious!! Remember when the vacuum thing got stuck on his face and he pulled it off and Bart was like, "aaaaahhh" and they cut to Homer and he's like, "What?" and his eye's all messed!! I always wait for that part... :D
April 24, 200422 yr Best episodes? Twenty-Two Short Films About Springfield Homer The Vigilante $pringfield Homie The Clown Principal Skinner is my favourite character. He always cracks me up, especially in the scenes with Superintendent Chalmers.
April 26, 200422 yr omg i have soooo many. everything that is said in my house has something to do with an episode. my sisters watch the dvds all the time, so they're always repeating simpson's lines. i think the last couple of ones i watched was that simpsons halloween special dvd.
April 26, 200422 yr Alright, a Simpsons thread! Favourite episodes: The Springfield Files, Blame it on Lisa, Lemon of Troy, Bart Carny, Behind the Laughter, The Two Nahasapeemapetilons, The City of New York vs. Homer Simpson, and there's plenty more. I've been a Simpsons fan since I was about 7 or 8, this show is the greatest! Someone posted about the new episodes not being as good anymore, I'll have to agree with that. I remember reading about Mike Reiss even saying it's not as good as it used to be. Season 15 is just painful to watch sometimes. Anyone see Sunday night's episode "Catch 'Em If You Can?" It was...interesting. Some of the season 13 and 14 and episodes pretty good though...if you watch them a few times and get used to the jokes.

I remember reading about Mike Reiss even saying it's not as good as it used to be. Season 15 is just painful to watch sometimes. [/quote'] I completely agree. Since Matt Groening left to make Futurama (which was brilliant), it has gone completely down the pan. a) Homer is just too stupid. While he's never been the sharpest knife in the drawer, they've just turned him into a total vegetable and it's completely unbelievable that anyone could be that retarded. b) They use too many of the novelty characters, like Hans Moleman, Professor Frink and Captain McAllister. They were always funny beforehand, but now they just enter, say one crap line and then say a catchphrase. c) The stories start off okay, but every 2 minutes they completely change and eventually become hopelessly ludicrous. d) The jokes are very very very predictable, and are often enough make me cringe. I never watch the new episodes anymore, cos they never ever ever make me laugh. I can honestly sit through 98% of the episodes from the last few seasons and not even feel like laughing. I honestly think it's about time they called it a day. Seasons 2-9 are absolute genius.
April 27, 200422 yr *COUGH* oh yea, sorry ren, no hugs for ya. haha But oh yea, back to the topic... Skinned alive (man, i'm sorry, i always forget your name :embarrased: ) and Michelle, i totally agree with what you guys said. The new episodes really arent half as good as the old episodes. But i gotta say, i'm starting to like the new episodes. i guess you have to watch em a few times and then they grow on you, i dunno. Oh yea, this thread is about our favourite episodes, right? I'll post my list here tomorrow.
April 27, 200422 yr No T.V and no beer make Homer go something something... Go..crazy? DONT MIND IF I DO! That was the BEST halloween episode ever.
