Featured Replies

My grandma has something in her refrigerator that expired in 1997.

I don't even think she had the same refrigerator back then.

We have a spice rack which the spices expired 15 years ago but we ain't gonna move them anytime soon :D#

Weird... Yes Very My Grandad was Especially he had the funniest laugh and used to make the randomest songs up and sometimes just howl like a dog ... Yeah he was Craazy and that's why we loved him

My grandma has three freezers filled with food in her garage. 80% of it has probably expired years ago :laugh3:

Yeah it was Very sad when my Grandad died :( Because our family is so big and I was quite close with him.

I hate eating at old people's houses :bigcry:

Not too much at my own grandparent's house but still a bit weary.

... then again I check the date of everything before I eat it,

even if I just bought it.... :uhoh: That's quite weird, isn't it?

how often do you eat at old peoples houses who you aren't related to?

are you being groomed?

I had to teach my nan to text. It was painful to say the least. :blank:

My grandmother's going insane...she used to be a brilliant cook and everything...lately everything she bakes is shit and I'm always very scared to drive with her...:freak:

My grandma is pretty good when it comes to technology. Except she doesn't know how to use the DVD player...

Same here. Mine still uses a typewriter.

My granny has a facebook :cool3:

and she knows how to use it.

She has also read the twilight series and makes the BEST pancakes.

My friend's granny is also awesome, she loves playing super mario and went impulse shopping and bought a bright red sofa :awesome:

Haha a typewriter? Mine has been using computers since the early 90s I think.

And she owns a wii. :smoking:

But she's no better using that than she is at using the DVD player. :blank:

Hahaha I love this thread :P old people are so fun :wacky:

My great uncle comes up from Florida a lot, and he's deaf in one ear, so you have to shout when you talk to him. If he can't hear you, he goes 'HMM?' and raps his hand against the table when he speaks :laugh3:

They don't appreciate the little time that they have left in this world.

My great uncle's always talking about how he's going to die soon. It's so annoying.

with overpopulation as it is i doubt we are gonna strive to get people to 200. plus just think of the state of mental health of the average 200 year old. i'd be happy making 80. fifteen years of retirement and i'd probably be bored. plus if i pass 90 i obviously haven't had enough fun in my younger years.

it must be pretty cool knowing you don't have all that long left. if i was diagnosed with a terminal illness tomorrow and given 18 months, in a way it would be very liberating. you could just concentrate on enjoying your time once you got over the shock.
