Just get a waterproof & shockproof case ;)

I suggest an iPhone next time. They're tougher.

 

I just got the iPhone 4 and dropped it in a puddle the same day. Still works like new.

 

I've dropped my 3GS like a thousand times, and it's still as good as new.

But... The sound quality... It sucks, compared to iPods.

Same thing happened to me once...I left my iPod in my sweater pocket and accidentally washed it. :facepalm: It worked perfectly but only when it was connected to the dock. Other than that, it wouldn't even turn on. So my brother said he could "fix it" so he took it apart, and I guess he obviously couldn't because it wouldn't even work when it was on the iPod dock anymore. So my mom just got another one for me and I'm careful not to wash that one on accident. :P

Apparently putting it in rice right away will save it. It might be too late for you though...

 

Dood I did that with my ipod after I'd dropped it in the toilet. It didnt work at all :bomb:
