I only have Good Morning Spider at the moment though, I kinda srsly need to work on getting his discography.

That one is really good. My favourite from it is Little Girl with Julian Casablancas.

I've only like, listen to 7 tracks off that album. Another 6 more to go. LULZ.

i met him and he seemed really sad then, about 3 or 4 years ago. got his autograph and thanked him for his performance (he was playing with daniel johnston) but he didn't seem to want to talk all too much so i gave him some space.

yeah it was really good. it was billed as daniel johnston and friends, but it was basically his own supergroup, so the 'friends' played their own separate support slots before him, then they all played daniel johnston songs together.

 

there was mark linkous from sparklehorse, jad fair from half japanese, the bassist from yo la tengo and also scout niblett. then the guy who plays with daniel as well.

 

met them all backstage. sparklehorse were the best support slot and played some really nice stuff (things i've not been able to track down since so i don't know if it was new or old)
