Whatevs~ I know there are enough of us fangirls to do this, especially if all those other bands are getting their own thread.

Plus, I know quite a few people on here have expressed interest in getting more into Blur so this would be perfect for them! I don't know what month we could have it yet, as we would still have to decide on that. Sounds like a lot of months are already taken until next year. It sounds really far off but maybe in January or something.

Here is a good example MK did last year for a Radiohead album, The Bends that you can look at to see how it would be set up if you were to sign up for an album:

Bonus) Lexxie says she wants a whole day to talk about all the homo in Blur so whatever she gets that. I'm so jealous!

 

 

And maybe we could even squeeze in Starshaped or No Distance Left to Run on one of those days too, or just extend the week :sneaky:.

 

Anyway I called dibs on Parklife but if some REALLY wants to do it and switches with another one I love then I'll consider giving it up. But I don't think anybody else in the Blur thread said it was their favorite album so....

Did you guys look at the example I gave for the Radiohead album last year?

Basically your just writing about the album and the individual songs. It helps everyone that wants to participate learn more about that album and the process that went into making it. And then you can post the album artwork and the singles/ music videos from the album etc. You can go strictly by the example I gave or even make it your own. Then everyone who wants to participate in that album day can fill this out:

 

Favorite song –

Least favorite song –

Most listened to song (iTunes/last.fm) -

Least listened to song (iTunes/last.fm) -

Favorite song musically -

Favorite song lyrically –

Favorite line of the album -

Most overrated song -

Most underrated song -

Current favorite -

Favorite when you first listened to the album -

 

What song best exemplifies each of the members off the album

I've never experienced winter, and I'm pretty sure I would die from it! :laugh3: It's sunshine here through out the year.

I wouldn't mind January, but January next year would mean the start of a new year at school and next year I would be Form 5, which is the major exam year.

But I suppose Chinese New Year might land during January and I would have holidays. :D

Yah, I hate the winter with a passion. Where I live we get pretty harsh winters and sometimes its just so horrid out you don't want to go anywhere.

 

Yah, I realize everyone is going to be busy at some point. But if we all take just one album it shouldn't be too bad :D
