If wisdom teeth grow in straight and don't crowd your other teeth, I don't think they have to be pulled at all. Right?

I already had a case of adult teeth growing really awkwardly above baby teeth because bubba teeth were stubborn

I presume like normal teeth these teeth form at a young age and then come up later on? :uhoh:

They were not on my x-ray when I went to the orthadonist,

surely I wouldn't get braces for my teeth to fuck up later on?

No, they start growing when you're about 12 or 13 I think. :thinking: I could be wrong. You might never have them, they don't grow for some lucky people.

 

I have a story. :awesome: When I was about 11, I was waiting for my last baby tooth to come out. It wouldn't, so I got an x-ray. It showed that in that one spot, I had three rows of teeth. The baby tooth, the adult tooth, and sandwiched between them an extra tooth had grown. I got it taken out by an oral surgeon, and my adult tooth won't grow in so I don't have a tooth where there should be, making me look like an eight year old that lost their first tooth. :blank:

 

I'll probably have my wisdom teeth taken out. I'm lucky, though, I only have 2 wisdom teeth. :lol:

Even if wisdom teeth don't bother you now and are fine, my dentist said they could cause more problems the older you get. Then the surgery is more painful and difficult too. So even though my top ones really weren't harming me, they took them out anyway just to be save in the future.

My wisdom teeth haven't even grown in yet :P

Yeah, my mom waited and they ended up getting infected a year after she finished college. Then when they were finally taken out, all four of them got dry socket. So it's much better to get it over with and take them out.

Vicodin is amazing...although I was addicted.

 

There's really no pain from the teeth themselves, but be careful with the pain meds because once you run out you will rage like fuck and want to kill someone. Also, be sure not to eat any meat or something like that, because food gets stuck in the holes really easily and tastes/smells like absolute shit.

Yeah because the difference in pressure from sucking on a straw can disrupt the natural healing process and allow junk to get in to the area. Nutrition shakes FTW.
