August 23, 201015 yr 4 MOAR DAYS UNTIL BUENOS AIRES How long are you going for? What grade are you in even?
August 24, 201015 yr I was born and grew up in a 100,000 town. Narrow and paved streets brimming with ugly buildings and close minded, ignorant people. I'm far from that. And not everyone there's like that. And I'm average looking but I know some people rather hot from there.I don't think he meant it literally. :) I'll start living in another country rather soon and I can't wait! I'm afraid at the same time as I'll be far away from my friends and family but I need this experience so much because I want to get to know myself and see what kind of life suits me best.
August 25, 201015 yr I'd like to study on a foreign country too. France, Canada, or England (and maybe Spain) would be my first choices. And also I would be really happy living in New York. But at the end of the day I always `picture myself coming back to Mexico, I'm not entirely sure why.

I think he actually was speaking about attitude. That's what i was referring to as well.
August 25, 201015 yr I understood it as in "You'll always find people from other big cities/foreign countries more interesting than those who live in the same country as you". But nevermind. :)
August 30, 201015 yr Whenever you have the chance to live in a foreign country... do it! It's unbelievable. I spent 6 months in New Zealand earlier the year and met so many amazing people. Now I live and work in Ireland for additional 6 months and I have one of the best days of my life. It's very interesting to see what people overseas like e.g. when it comes to do things after work or at weekends. Also using the different media landscape and watching certain types of sport which I've never seen before is quite interesting, too. You also learn to know things you miss from your home country or you meet things, facts or situations which you like even more abroad. It's a nice experience.
August 30, 201015 yr I really want to live in the Uk everything seems so great about the counrty can't find 1 argument not to go ... but I'm not old enough yet .... and I must have a reason , I can't just move there with no plan ...
August 30, 201015 yr I would love to live in London. I've already asked to go there after high school and I'm planning on spending a semester there in college. England seems like a great place. Literally all of my favorite musicians are from there, and the history is so interesting and it has so many things to see and do. Plus, I'd love to live in the city after living in the suburbs for my whole life. And hey, they do have pretty cool accents over there
June 22, 201115 yr I only lived in 2 different cities my whole life: Lisbon - where I was born and live currently -, and Brussels - where I lived for a year as an erasmus student. Now I want to live maybe for a year or so in Brazil, São Paulo and Porto Alegre are my top choices! :D

Now I want to live maybe for a year or so in Brazil, São Paulo and Porto Alegre are my top choices! :D Quando você diz São Paulo, você quer dizer o ESTADO ou a CIDADE? A cidade é beeeeeeem populosa... Well, in my case, I was raised in Brazil and moved to Los Angeles in December of 2009. I really like it in here, but I do miss some stuff from Brazil (how warm and friendly people are...), and even wish sometimes that I was there. However, I don't see myself living in Brazil again for some personal reasons. One place that I really, really, really, really, really wanna go is Ireland! I don't know why but I love that place :D I would also like to visit Spain (heritage), France, Germany, Italy, Scotland, Wales, Finland... Several places :P I think everyone should travel abroad. When we go somewhere out of our comfort zone, we learn more about the world and ourselves.
June 28, 201114 yr The friend of a friend (it's true though :laugh3:) moved from Mexico to Finland to live with his Finnish girlfriend. That's dedication, I mean exchanging 365 days of summer to 6 months of darkness! :stunned:
