when i went in one of my co-workers commented on my new car

 

co-worker: did you pay for that?

me: of course i did!

co-worker: how'd you do that?

me: i paid for it with the money i got from my other job!

co-worker: what other job?

me: im an undercover cop!

me: ive been laying low searching this area for the culprit!

me: it's a tough job but i know you wont tell anybody!

co-worker: omg really?!?!?

me: no

Reminds me of the time this random couple started talking to my friend and I on the bus.

We told them we were engaged.

They believed us.

btw this story obviously worked better verbally than on a message board

seeing as most of friends and others i have told in person found it hilarious

i guess it will go down as one of those you had to be there type of moments

I guess they knew the person who got "pranked"...and that made it funnier. Or they were just being polite.
