Normally the Best Chris/Guy/Phil fans awards are won by people from the dark-side of the forum ;)

 That made me laugh.

david, actually the funniest user one would be more controversial considering 95% of the forum hates him.

But he's won it for the past 4 years, so if I change Mrs Coldplaying to name it in your honour, I will have to change Funniest poster as well (to be fair)

Has anyone else dominated awards?

Don't think so, maybe some of the fangirls in the biggest Will/Guy fan awards, maybe that needs some research :)

Probably Angie for Jonny fan.

She's definitely won that a few times.

Well I think Mark and Lore would both like to participate in those categories so I say no renaming.

then just don't, naming funniest poster after someone unfunny is quite stupid.

as I said in another thread maybe each of these special awards names should be voted in public polls or something. Not that I care that much anyway.

Public polls, but hosted in the guest-free lands of multimedia. Sounds like a good idea

Will the voting be safe from aliases? Perhaps a post count minimum?

Very sorry if you have already specified this. Can you link me to the rules then I don't have to ask stupid questions haha.

yeah that's a good idea david

mods can see IP's, they'd know if someone voted using two accounts

I love the evolution of the threads. How they always end up on some random topic that has nothing to do with the original post.

I take full credit for this one.

I better get best spammer, I didn't post 42,000 times in less than a year for nothing

The vast majority of the alias accounts should have been deactivated, and as it will be a public poll with names on display in case of any foul play, they will be checked.

Mods can't see IP addresses

Mods can't see IP addresses

Not even the new Global Mod thing? :surprised:

So only Ian can see that?

I thought you had considering you are global mods now, but well, I guess you still can ask Ian about people you think is using double accounts

Mods can't see IP addresses

Someone lied to me :surprised:

And then IP addresses are fooled if someone uses proxies

I better get best spammer, I didn't post 42,000 times in less than a year for nothing

Sounds like you should win to me :p

Unless I hear a better claim you have my vote
