That;s why I think there should be a post count minimum for some of the suspicious accounts.

Sounds like you should win to me :p

Unless I hear a better claim you have my vote

That's a great idea. We don't want this to end up like an American Presidential election.

And then IP addresses are fooled if someone uses proxies

:bigcry:

Now everyone's going to start using proxies! :P

It's how little wee Nathan keeps on trying to make a comeback.

I wish at times Semi-public polls existed, so that the list of whom voted is displayed to Mods, but I have an idea, instead of a poll, how does a fairer system of PMing the Awards account, should be able to pin-point any unusual activity and the votes will be kept a secret.

I better get best spammer, I didn't post 42,000 times in less than a year for nothing

I'm voting for Kelsie!

Isn't that how it's always been done? PMing the awards account... why are you going to make it a poll instead? :uhoh:

Hail to the Thief

Private messages could be good!

Could be more difficult for you though David.

I don't know who to vote for for anything.

Aw thanks :cheesy:

The question which was going to be put up for vote is should Mrs Coldplaying be renamed in Lore's honour as she's won it for the past 3 years running, and should Funniest User be renamed in Mark's honour as he's won it for the past 4 years running.

I think he's talking about polls to decide to rename some awards, im confused now

Aw thanks :cheesy:

I don't know who to vote for for any of the categories except for like three. :bigcry:

Easier to audit PMs than it is to audit poll votes.

The award votes will always be sent in PM, that way only the sender, myself and my trusted count checker will know whom you votes for, I was on about the poll to change the award names. Myself and my checker are under secretly orders, so all votes casts will be safe.

So how exactly do you want us to vote? Can we vote for individual awards to be renamed, or are we doing an "all or nothing" sort of thing?

Ahhhhhh, sorry I thought you were talking about all awards.

Then yes I agree with your proposal.

And I didn't know that the actual award votes were in private, that's better.

I'm going to word the question tomorrow after having a look to see if there is any other long-time winners in other awards, but it will be individual awards, so you can say Yes to 1 and No to the other one.

ie:

Suggestion 1 - That the Award for Best Hat gets renamed "Dave's Award for the User with the Best Hat"

Yes/Agree/Yay

or

No/Disagree/Nay
