Should I go to New York, Boston or visit family's farm in Ohio?

No, it's Bah-stun :p
:bomb: Frick, you're right! I was confusing it with a Brooklyn or New Jersey or something else accent!

I come from the "no accent" area of the States, so I forget where the other accents are really from. Of course, "no accent" is all relative...

I personally hate NYC, but that's probably because I live close to it so there's nothing special about it. I mean, I love the attractions there (museums, Broadway, etc.) but I do not enjoy simply walking around the city. Then again, if you've never been there, it's definitely a different experience.

That "Jersey" accent is a myth. We're quite accent-neutral. Brooklyn accents, on the other hand...

It would probably be insensitive to link you to this thread then...

You... :veryangry: ! lol

No frankly it's different because you're going to Europe. Europe is near me and cheeper and I've already been to all the countries you're planing to see. I'm not saying it's not tempting though! Your plans sounds wonderful :wacky:. I just have an obsession about NYC .

May I add that I left a comment on your thread a while ago but you ignored it :snobby: ...

I do apologise, I must not have seen it!

^ You must be blind then because it was looong. :disappointed:

I'm kidding of course, that's not that big of a deal! Apology accepted. :P

I love Boston. Beautiful city. I like it much better than NYC

This. Exactly.

New York City's not as amazing as it's cracked up to be imo. Although, when we went, we just drove through in a taxi to get to the harbor. :P

i'd have to disagree with you guys that don't like the city.

I mean I love going... I feel there's so much energy and it has a great vibe to it when walking around.

Go west young man.

Actually, go anywhere that autumn has arrived (if going soon )

Montreal :p It's one of the greatest cities period.

But if a passport is a problem, Boston. It's much better for exploring over a weekend than NYC.

Have you looked into maybe trying youth hostels? If you're ok with the idea it would save a lot on hotel costs.

Do they have a bathroom that lots of people use? The only problem I would have is sharing a bathroom with a lot of people.

Each one is different, Nick, lots though have private baths, but you pay more.

Hiking in the autumn in the Carolina`s is awesome too, but I would love to just travel up the coastline of New England. You have soo many choices !
