Lucid Dreaming

Featured Replies

I don't you spontaneously can have a lucid dream, I think you have to put yourself in that mindset, actually... Like with meditation you have to put yourself in a certain level of consciousness.

what I did[/url], it is really interesting. :surprised::wideeyed:

That site heavily reminds me of the Heavens Gate website :blank:

I have to try and figure out how to do it.

...what if all of this right now is a lucid dream?

*starts to fly*

I've read that you are more likely to have lucid dreams if you meditate regularly.

I've done it before for flying, it's rare I get a lucid dream and it's normally kinda hazey. But one thing me and my friends have noticed that when it comes to punching someone in a dream, it never connects- or you end up hitting them very softly and they just kinda back away a little bit.

anyone have a lucid dream last night?

I didn't :(

Well Mike I wodner what would have happened if my dream last night was a lucid dream, because I dreamt of the group of people who came to your listening party last night...well, I can't remember it correctly, but I remember Emmo was definitely a part of it haha....

haha... that's awesome!

lucid dreaming is when you are able to be aware that you are dreaming when you are dreaming. From that if you know you are you can essentially control your dreams and do whatever you want (fly, go somewhere, do something)

Whenever I try that it always seems like I'm trying to hard and then I get annoyed and wake up. :|

YAY finally a thread about lucid dreaming!

I only had a lucid dream one time in my life  And it was rather messed up: I was standing in front of my house, which was completely burning, and my mother stood beside me and cried about that all our stuff is destroyed in the flames. But suddenly I realised that I was dreaming, and told her so, and she was like "Oh.. cool, than I don't have to worry! :cheesy:"

And then we just stood there and watched our house burning to the ground...

One thing I noticed, when I woke up I felt absolutely refreshed and really great.

I'm trying to lucid dream all the time, but I just can't control my actions in my dreams, I can't even look at my hands because it's like someone else is controlling my actions and the directions I look into :(

yes.

Like it happened once and it was pretty awesome and then it happened more and more over the course of a couple years.

I don't really see too much of the beauty in it or anyhting, you just kind of do whatever, I guess.

I don't think I've ever had a lucid dream, but sometimes, especially when I'm woken up in the morning, I go back to sleep so I can continue dreaming the same dream... it's weird. I know that I'm dreaming, but I can't control what happens. Not that I've really wanted to control it though.

I had a vivid dream abot zombies this morning

no joke. it was horrible :disappointed: stupid flesh eating things

they freak me out.

I used to like them

I never had a lucid dream, I wish I could control what happens in my dreams. Sadly, I only realise I was dreaming when I wake up. I once dreamed I was dreaming and then I woke up in my dream, but that's not the same thing.

I've had vivid dreams, where you actually feel things happening and the sensation stays after you wake up, but they were usually nightmares and they were awful :\

^ this.

I dreamed about lucid dreams last night. :|

I've never had a lucid dream.

So largely the next morning when I realise I was dreaming I think 'DAMN IT - could have punched in a communists face'.

Never happened to me. :(
