May 29, 200422 yr Author perhaps one of the most perfect voices you could ever hope for. I totally agree. I remember my cousin said his voice was "terrible"...i killed him. :dozey: ;)
May 29, 200422 yr I think the fact that most people know nothing of Jeff Buckley is quite a beautiful thing. I mean, when Kurt Cobain special anniversaries are all over my TV its a little, over-exposed. Jeff Buckley's popularity these days is purely by word of mouth. Hes never on TV or Radio anymore so its people who really loved the guy keeping his music alive, its basically one kid telling another kid to listen to Jeff Buckley and eventually he'll love Jeff too. Its great like that, its as if, the legend of this man just keeps growing.
May 30, 200422 yr ^^^i kind of agree with that...I like it the way it is, and how it's like an elite group of people liking his music :smug: :D
May 30, 200422 yr Rest in peace, Jeff  There are no words to explain the beauty of this music... people will never understand, unless they listen to it themselves.
May 30, 200422 yr JEFF BUCKLEY ’s debut album ’GRACE’ is to be re-issued with extra songs. Released on August 22, the album will be released as a three-disc package with two CDs and a DVD. Disc one features an original album newly remastered by George Marino, while CD2 will feature 13 non-album rarities and collectors items, either recorded in preparation for the ‘Grace’ sessions, or immediately after when Jeff and his band began touring to support the album’s release. Included on this disk is the often bootlegged song ’Forget Her’, which was set for inclusion on the original record, but taken off at the last minute to be replaced by ’So Real’. The DVD will feature four video clips, archival studio recording footage, interviews and live performances.
May 30, 200422 yr Amen to that. I don't think I'll be getting the new Grace edition though... not only because I think his mum is trying to squeeze money off fans like there's no tomorrow, but basically because I only got the original Grace a few months ago. I'll probably just download the DVD online somewhere *shrugs*
May 31, 200422 yr I heard that Jeff and the band were going to record the second album, just two weeks BEFORE he died. That is a tragedy. That is fucking tragedy. I love the album GRACE, [Mojo Pin, The Last Goodbye, So Real, Hallelujah] That Hallelujah is magical, absolutely magical. I recommend that song fully. Even though it is a cover... oh well, he wrote some awesome songs anyway
May 31, 200422 yr This is our last goodbye I hate to feel the love between us die But it's over Just hear this and then I'll go : you gave me more to live for, more than you'll ever know. This is our last embrace, must I dream and always see your face Why can't we overcome this wall Baby, maybe it is just because I didn't know you at all. Kiss me, please, Kiss me But kiss me out of desire, babe, and not consolation You know, it makes me so angry 'cause I know that in time I'll only make you cry, this is our last goodbye. Did you say "no, this can't happen to me," and did you rush to the phone to call? Was there a voice unkind in the back of your mind saying, "maybe... you didn't know him at all." Well, the bells out in the church tower chime Burning clues into this heart of mine Thinking so hard on her soft eyes and the memory Of her sighs that, "it's over... it's over..." one of my favourites
May 31, 200422 yr Author I get chills when i listen to his cover of Hallelujah. It's really incredible.

I downloaded the song right away and fell in love
