What are you buying for Christmas?

We don't really do gifts as such in my family... I'm getting my dad a device to transfer old VHS family tapes into DVDs. Then I'm getting my mom a necklace where the proceeds from the sale goes to a Swedish cancer fund for children. Plus both of my parents are getting a studio photo of my siblings and I (we do that every year).

Don't know what to get my siblings, though :uhoh:

I has no moneh

So I'm going to make things for my friends and family :wacky:

I'll go to second hand shops and buy(with the little money I have) lots of cheap and super old picture frames and old almost-fallen-apart books and stuff

Those are the best gifts. The rest of my family wants gift cards and such, boring.

I wish I could create or find something unique.

^^ Then you should do it! :nice: It's fun!

And it makes the gift more special since you put some time on working with it and stuff, you know?

Like make a photo album or make a collage in a picture frame or go crazy and paint something and write some of that persons favorite lyrics on it

Well I already gave my Chrismas present to my dad, White Lies concert ticket.

My mum always wishes Baileys Irish Cream so that for her.

To my brother a new handball ball.

And some cute little (not expenssive) things for my friends. It usually includes some kind of jewelry and chocolate.

...Wait, you can transfer VHS to DVDs!? :surprised: I need to get one of those!

The necklace idea is just grand! Way to give to a worthy cause while getting your mother something fabulous. :nice:

I'm not sure what I'm going to get my family. Nobody has expressed any want for any gift. But I do like to usually get some sort of gift that's a surprise. I just have to figure out what that is.

Yeah, I have that problem, too, especially with my dad. Dad never wants anything, and when we do get him something, he usually acts like A. he doesn't care, or B. he already knew what we were getting him. :blank:

My mom did express interest in Christmas albums from both Susan Boyle and Jackie Evancho. That's what she wants from my brothers and I. I told her I'd probably get her the Susan Boyle album.

Picked up my check today and bought my mother this watch from Brighton.

-insert huge watch image here-

I think your mom's going to really enjoy it, Nick. :wacky:
