Answering machines.

Featured Replies

I always hang up the phone when I get to the answering machine.

Whenever I do leave a message, like if it's rly important or something, I talk too fast and I'm sure the person doesn't understand a thing I said.

They just make me really nervous for some reason.

Anyone else suffer from this irrational fear? :|

First post :awesome:

I just hate talking at someone, rather than to them. But yeah, unless it's important (like a piano lesson or something), I just hang up and make a mental note to call 'em back latorz.

Am I the only one who hates when people try to go all creative with their answering machines? Like this one time I called someone and it was like "Hello, it's Zelma... *LONG BREAK FOR ME TO TALK* HAHA THIS IS MY ANSWERING MACHINE *beep*" FFFUUUUUU.

Never left a message for anyone since then.

Me. :|

I hate leaving messages. I always forget something, and then when I remember it I say it real fast, get embarrassed, and do my embarrassed giggle and hang up.

I have never had something that urgent to say that I would have to leave a message,

I just ring back later.

Though anytime they in to them I'm like D: hang up hang up.

I actually find that pretty funny :D

My dad told me about this guy whose answering machine message was 'Hello?' Then a pause... 'Hello? Hello?! Hello?!? HELLO?!?' :awesome:

I always hang up.

I hate calling people on the phone, I'm always afraid that they'll answer it. :|

I leave a message most times... Apparently I leave "good" messages? I don't like calling people that much but once I do I don't want to have to do it again I guess.

This.

^I'm about the same. I don't really care, if it leaves me to 'Please leave a message...', I hang up the phone.

to me it depends on the situation. Most times i'll leave a message if it's important, othertimes I won't. But then again I don't really use the phone too often.

FOOL

there is a sometimes option but not a usually option?!?!

your poll loses as i cannot vote

Never use this thing. :freak:

I hate answering machines apart from this friend of my dads who we ring just to hear his answering message

haaha! :awesome: That is kind of annoying but funny at the same time lul.

I rarely leave messages, when I do it's mostly to my parents or my brother

I just hang up, but that's mainly because I do not want to waste money on a call that's not answered.

Phone calls are not really cheap here /stingy

Pretty much 19 times out of 20 I will hang-up and call back later.

The only time I will leave a message if that is the only way to get a message across to the person.

As for answering machine message, I have the plan 1571 message

erm usually, I hang up and call later or send a text instead & just wait 'till they reply back or call me back
