I had my ears pierced when I was seven, but I haven't worn earrings since I was eight.

I do not have any tattoos, but I had my ears pierced many years ago. I was afraid to have it done, but it was done by a professional with a piercing gun and happened so fast - NO PAIN at all.

 

So don't worry, be happy.

I got mine done in 5th grade. So I was like...10. :lol: I'm a total woos and cried a bit at first, but after I remember leaving the booth really excited. And then you have to soak the earrings in alcohol and yadda yadda...:rolleyes:

 

I really want my cartilage done though. X} Haha

One thing I find really gross though is when people have earrings that streach big holes in their ears :uhoh:. It can look nice if the ear has only been streached a little but huge holes are so gross :wreck:

 

Ewwwww, same. One of my friends in the music department told me that a friend of hers who did that had to have two surgeries just to get his ears looking back to normal. :wreck:

 

OK, back on topic. I personally don't have any piercings or tattoos. I got my ears pierced once, and after a few weeks, it started to feel really uncomfortable, and I didn't feel like myself, so I let them grow back. As for tattoos, I know I won't find anything that I'm comfortable enough putting permanently on my body, and even if I did, I have a bad needle phobia, so it wouldn't happen, anyway.

 

On other people, it's fine, as long as it's tasteful.

Tattoos with colours will look different on darker skin yes as the colour will be somewhat darker. Even a tattoo that is coloured on a black person with very light skin will look different to one of a black person with darker skin .

Not a fan of tattoos. I think if you get one that it should be small and somewhere where it's not so noticable. I also think that having a tattoo should be a well thoughtout decision because though you can get the removed for the most part it's still permanent, and I can't help but think of people who get their arms covered with them, what they will look like when they are in their 70's or 80's.

 

For piercings I'm sort of the same way in that the fewer the better. I find that too many or piercings in weird places (lip, tongue, eyebrow) is a turnoff to me.

Oh i toally agree with you. I absolutely hate weird piercings. One of my sisters once pierced her back, that freaked the hell out of me. Now she just has her ears tonue and navel pierced.

 

She has about 8 tattoos too theyre not too big but she knows I think theyre too many.

 

One or two vwer discreet and well draw tattos are fine with me.

Then again, I don't truely understand the point of a tattoo in the first place. To be honest, I only ever originally wanted one to be cool, tattoo's make you interesting, you show that you can make a solid decision by marking your skin for life, but beyond that, I think it's fairly superficial and in some ways self-obsessive. Can a person not represent themselves without the aid of ink on their body?

 

The counter-argument is that a tattoo is a representation of someone to themselves, so that when they see it on their own body they remind themselves of who they are and what they are about. But most tattoo's I see don't really represent anything, some random tribal tattoo, or Mandarin, well basically in some language the person doesn't understand, does that really represent you?

I'm kinda jealous of some of my friends who have piercings and tattoos :wacky: one friend has a nipple piercing, another one has a tattoo on her foot, a third one has a "bull ring" in her nose (it looks :awesome:), and a fourth one has quite a lot of piercings in her ears. :wideeyed:

I have a very large tat on my back- larger than what was planned- but that's what you get for downing a huge amount of tequila and not paying attention to what is being done:stunned::wreck::drunk::uhoh2: It has a very personal meaning behind it though, and I love it a lot.

My second tat is a sparrow on my hip.

My third is the # 42 in a discreet, area on my thigh.

Ears are pierced, as well as belly button.

I will be adding my son Liam's name sometime soon.

I can totally understand what you mean. You need to think really long and hard before you get a tatt of that band though as your music taste could change and you don't want to regret it later.

 

An animal sounds nice and those kinds of tatos are normally detailed and the ones I've seen are quite nice.
