If you were to buy one which would you chose and why?

i don't like these bands, but maybe the crystal castles album is better

if you asked me this a few months ago i wouldve say crystal castles by a long shot cos sleigh bells are just hyped up rubbish. but after a few months with Treats it's really grown on me and i appreciate their music. but crystal castles are still my preference and i already have a copy :D

I would vote Sleigh Bells. I don't think they're revolutionary or anything, but the roughness of their music really appeals to me. I don't like Crystal Castles at all. Nothing abut the vocals appeals to me, and very little about the music.

Crystal Castles, because I think they're much better than Sleigh Bells, that's why.

While I'm not the biggest fan of either (not big on noise), something about Sleigh Bells rubs me the wrong way. I mean, "Rill Rill" is a good song and so are a few others, but overall, I find Crystal Castles to be less...irritating? I don't know if that's the right word, but my vote for Crystal Castles stands.

Well I reserved a copy of CCII so I'll be buying that one first.

After listening to both, I must say I like Crystal Castles much more.

I took a listen to a couple of tracks from each band, and I don't think I like either of them. It's just not my cup of tea. :shrug:

CCII, wonderful album. Especially in the winter.

i think in the end CCII ended up being no.9 on my end of year list and sleigh bells were no.26
