mumford & sons have written and basically completed about 6 songs already so i wouldnt be at all surprised if we see something from them towards the end of the year. they've spent over 18 months on the road for Sigh No More so they will be very tired. but they are the "hot" band in the US at the moment so they would want to ride on that momentum.

new arctic monkeys this year so unlikely. but im sure Miles Kane is desperate to work with Alex again. his own band has really struggled.

It's not a solo album or anything of the sort, he has a highly possible new The Good, The Bad and the Queen album out this year, an album already recorded with Flea and Tony Allen, an opera, possible new Blur songs, and a movie soundtrack, they just grouped that all under his name. However I'm surprised NME had him at #4 too. And just LOOOL NME ranking albums before they are even out, so ridiculous.

 

Also lol they would put Arctic Monkeys at #1, but naw I'm exited about it too.
