March 23, 201115 yr It's my opinion and my opinion only but Led Zeppelin just feel dated and are overrated. I pissed myself when a BBC 2 programme voted them the greatest rock n roll band of all time. I couldn't give a shit how Jimmy Page rapes his guitar because I feel that sort of guitarist is just boring. The likes of The Edge, Jonny Marr, Jonny Greenwood et are better guitarists in my opinion because they give meaning to their guitar work.
March 24, 201115 yr I`ve tried to like them. I never get through more than half of a song, even a song I liked at first, because the guitar is too screechy. I hate, hate, hate screechy 70s guitar ******y, no matter how good it is. It gives me a splitting headache within about two minutes and if it miraculously doesn`t, I get bored in about 3. *pouts* (But I really loved Raising Sand, for whatever that`s worth. But then it didn`t have screechy guitar stuff.)
