I made mine in about twenty minutes, but that's because I've been making playlists consistently, around one a week at least for the last year, so I have plenty to draw from. Just a case of searching through them and cherry picking to the persons needs.

Yeah, same here. I've been making monthly mixtapes since October 2009, compiled the tracks in Youtube playlists and posted them on my blog.

I've been planning a mixed tape for a few months so I was just waiting for the next exchange!

But I'm already rethinking some of the songs I chose so I might make some changes.

to whoever's got me, I am subscribed to last.fm so I can see who visits my profile. so if you have a last.fm account, log off before visiting my page hehe.

 

and I'm quite worried about how I'm gonna pull off making a mixtape for my partner. they have an impressive knowledge in music and ugh D:

Think I'm about 90% happy with my tracklist. Not gonna zip/upload yet in case I want to make a few more tweaks. Excited to hear the mix that someone has put together for me :dance:

 

Can I make a request for mp3's only tho. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE no iTunes tracks. I'll be listening thru media player and it doesn't recognise the iTunes extension. iTunes pisses me off no end, it's really slow and stupid and switching programs just messes up the flow of the mix :(

 

Other than that, I'm not fussy about particular styles/genres, but I don't tend to look favourably on rap/hip-hop/r-n-b, just to warn ya :)

How long are everyone's mixes? Mine is 18 songs, and it works out to 1.2 hours according to iTunes.

 

I hope that's not too long...I could cut some stuff out but I don't want to. :P

Mine's always about 17-18 tracks :P
