Do they mean what they say?

 

I hate the fact that they might have forgotten it the day after...

 

(now this question seems to be extremely stupid, but I am just really sceptical since there are quite a few idiots out there and then on the other hand it might not be the right decision to act too sceptical...)

I don't like drunk guys. It is OK if you have a few drinks, but please don't get drunk. That is one reason I like Chris.

Well, I think they usually mean what they say. They might exagerate it a bit but that's about it. Actually you tend to say what you really think when you're drunk because you don't think too much.

Actually no. Sometimes this is not true haha. Fuck, I don't know. :freak: You also tend to do things you wouldn't do (and wouldn't want to do) when you're drunk. Like, kissing people you don't even really like just because you feel like it at the moment. That is strange.

Though I don't think you can do or says things that you absolutely don't wanna do or don't mean.

Yes this. Thanks Alice...this is what I've been thinking too....and it is kinda tricky if one person keeps telling you certain things when they see you and everytime you see them they are tipsy or drunk (wow that sounds weird haha) and you don't know the person too well.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm really honest when I'm drunk. Everything I say is true and I usually say too much haha.

haha nah it's ok I can tell you:

 

First of all I've grown up in an area of villages where everyone kinda "knows" each other (at least their names)....spring/summer is usually the time where there are some parties going on and you meet mainly people from your area....

 

so last year there was one of these parties going on and it was late at night and there were only around 10 people left having fun and dancing outside while the sun was rising (hahaha)....including me and that guy who I've always considered as kinda cool and who I always wanted to talk to before, but I've always been too shy I think or I never really got the chance...so, he came over to me and started talking to me saying hi and stuff....later the other ones left, him and me went home together and he was asking me, another girl and another guy to come over to his flat just to hang out a bit...it was so good, because we had some pretty good conversations and I liked his views on things and before that other girl and me went home (at 10am in the morning) he told me that he likes my views on things and he liked those conversations we had and I am pretty cool and he likes me....

 

so, some days later there was another party going on and we were kinda tipsy again and he came over to me and told me again that I am one of the coolest people he has met around here and all that stuff

 

 

some weeks later there was another party and he went home with a friend of him and asked me if I wanted to go with them (but I said no for some reason haha)...so he kissed me on the cheek and they went away

 

 

last night there was one of the first parties around here this year and he had a football match and when he and his team came to the party they were all pretty drunk....and once again I was too shy to go over to him and start to talk to him, because I wasn't sure if he remembers how cool it was last year (ok why shouldn't he?:wacky:)....but then he started talking to me and told me once again that he likes me and I said that I hope he remembers that he's been telling me this since he was pretty drunk, but he said he really means it.

 

and then my sister, two other guys, him and me went home together (in my sister's car) and we brought him home and I brought him to his flat (because yeah fuck he was that drunk and he had a bag to carry....:wacky:) and he was asking me to stay, but I said I can't and gave him a hug (a pretty long one) and then that other guy came and we stayed some more minutes and he was telling that other guy what he thinks of me and that I am his Jules (I am not sure but I think he said something like "my Rock'n'Jules" haha) and he was asking me to stay again, but we had to go....so he asked me for a kiss and gave him that one on the cheek and then we went away...(I was kinda sober btw....)

 

I am just not sure if he does the same with other girls or if he really thinks I am hm kinda "special",....well what I know is that I am pretty different to the other girls around

 

I don't want to interpret too much in those things since he was drunk and since his situation is kinda difficult when it comes to relationships and that stuff (due to other reasons...I am not even sure if he has a girlfriend or not omg)......

 

But well usually I don't care too much about those things, but this time I just want to get to know him better and to hang out with him just because I feel like we could get along pretty well and we could have some good conversations

 

there is another party going on next weekend and I am pretty sure he is going to be there too....and I feel like I should go over to him and just talk to him....sometimes I feel like I act too "distanced" or "sceptical" which might make me appear like I don't really care about this.....but sometimes I am just not self-confident enough (esp. when it comes to people I like) and don't consider myself as too important...and I feel like I should take steps towards those people more esp. in this case, because there is no reason at all of not doing it I guess

From how you are explaining it, it sounds like he definitely likes you especially since he's always talking to you. Also he must like you especially since he remembers you and has the same fondness of you as he used to at those parties a year ago. I say go for it and talk to him. Good luck!

 

 

For me I've never been drunk in the sense that I don't remember things or whatever, but I'd say it makes me more social and talk more. So I guess it really depends on the person.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm really honest when I'm drunk. Everything I say is true and I usually say too much haha.

And this. Not really from experience since I've only been drunk twice or something, but just from seeing other people (cough cough, hubby) when they've had too much to drink. The mental self-censor is stripped away and they say what they are really thinking. They might not remember it (what they said) later on, but it's the truth.
