If there's anything like a musical orgasm... well, I've just had one

Does this count?

2. Money - Pink Floyd

3. Baba O'Riley - The Who

A few immediately spring to mind:

Coldplay - In My Place

Aha - Take On Me

Depeche Mode - Just Can't Get Enough

The Human League - Don't You Want Me

OMD - Enola Gay

New Order - Blue Monday

The Eagles - Hotel California

The first time I heard this song (happened to be while my iPod was on shuffle) it's the intro that got me hooked. Unsettling, yet great.

imho

Mike is probably rolling his eyes right now

Another one that immediately came to mind was the intro for Fleetwood Mac's 'Tusk'; but now that I think about it, I'm not sure there's really any clear cutoff point for what is considered the intro. But the whole song progresses really well.

^

I don't know why I'd be rolling my eyes because it's a good intro, except of course it's that I think that might be your favorite song of all time

These aren't my favourites (so why am I posting them? ), but I am a fan of intros including pianos such as:
