The Parts im not sure are "up by the spark" and im sure he says "as the room spinning goes" thats what i think he sings in the Studio version. "So we're so....luminous and wild," I think it's not "So we're so" something different..

September 24, 201114 yr It's embarrassing how clear the word "luminous" is now that we know what to listen for. Ah well. Good catch, Cake! I'd always thought the lyrics were "So it's all" instead of "So we saw" or "So we're so" because I kept hearing that "L" sound...guess it was from "luminous" after all! Edit: I'm still hearing "All that matters in the world" rather than "All the mess in the world." I could be wrong, though.

September 29, 201114 yr Guys, it's combusting the concrete. Not "come bursting". Have we seen these lyrics written by the band anywhere (on instruments or anything)? I'm not saying it's not "combusting," I was just wondering if it's been confirmed or not. Personally, I can hear it either way depending on the version I'm listening to.

October 14, 201114 yr Either this or "luminous and wild". I used to think it was wild, but the last syllable of the word is "ed" and wild ends in a "ld". That's what makes me fairly certain it's wired.
October 14, 201114 yr I'm still not sold on the "wire" bit, and there's still a missing syllable after "luminous" in any case, which makes me wonder if the word we're looking for is "luminescent." Another thought: "And we're so luminescent while We'll be glowing in the dark." Not really sold on that one either, but it's another possibility.
