It's the hockey team's fault for losing.

;)

No, but it's crazy. Seriously.

I imagine this is what happens after a game of football in Europe as well.

Naaaahaha silly Canadians. There are much better things to riot about.

Pretty lame, if you ask me. No. Incredibly lame, actually.

Not surprising really. Diehard hockeytown, never won the cup, lead the regular season, win each final home game, and then choke by giving up a couple really stupid goals. Obviously can't condone the violence, but in order for them to maintain the sanctity and religious fervor of the event, it's to be expected.

I even read about this in a Belgian news paper...

Crazy people

Just saw this on the news. Oh Canada, you so silly.

This is why I don't follow sports...well that and I'm too frail to play them :laugh3:

But as long as your alright

...it's just a game :|

Welcome to Canada, we crayzay!

i've never understood why people riot for sports. I could understand if it was for like a protest against the government or something that effects someones well being or life.

but rioting over your favorite team loosing? come on. I know it's disappointing, but not something you'd start a riot for.

People need to realize this would have happened no matter who won. It happened 17 years ago in Vancouver when they lost. It happened in 1993 in Montreal when they won.

You get groups of criminals who are planning to create chaos regardless of the outcome of the game. There is no other way to explain how an organized riot breaks out so fast.

What happened does not represent the fans of the Vancouver Canucks or the people of Vancouver.

The winning team's fans did something similar.

They flipped a bus! haha

But those are New Englanders for you. Boston is crazy!

Was it them thar rednecks?

:| :| :|

:| :| :|

You rednecks are the cause of all evil.

:| :| :|

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, because Boston / New England / East Coast is totally redneck country. :|

* noes its nots *

edit: Sorry, I realized my analysis of the original comment doesn't make sense because Boston wasn't even mentioned at that point.

To revise my point, uh, Vancouver isn't redneck country either. So either way I don't get it.

You rednecks are the cause of all evil.

We have our own breed of rednecks :laugh3: they make tornado shelters by digging a hole and putting a bus in the hole

I take it back, Vancouver is full of fucking assholes. I'm glad they didn't win their hockey game.

the freak :stunned:

I find it amusing how the people who are destroying the property conveniently covered their faces. "Oh hi, I'm gonna be a badass and smash some glass but I want to make sure that I don't go to jail or anything."

I heard that some people even got stabbed?
