Good afternoon. We're pleased to report that you'll be able to experience Coldplay's headline set on Glastonbury's Pyarmid Stage on Saturday (June 25th) wherever in the world you are.

 

In the UK, the show - which begins at 10.15pm UK time - will be broadcast live on TV, on BBC2 and BBC HD. The show will also be shown live on Germany's ZDF Kultur channel and Brazil's Multishow. Meanwhile, in America, the show will make history by becoming the first Glastonbury concert to be broadcast in full on US television, when it airs on VH1 and Palladia, at 10pm ET/PT.

 

A portion of the show will also be broadcast live on the radio - and you can listen online, wherever you are. Head to BBC Radio 2 or BBC 6 Music to hear it.

 

We're very pleased that you'll all be able to be a part of what we hope will be a special evening.

 

Obviously I don't think anybody here would like to spend Glastonbury simply listening to BBC Radio the entire time. :\

 

Are there any specific proxies that can easily work for this? Also, a time zone indicator for 10:15 pm would be really appreciated.

We need a good proxy site. It's uncertain if it will be streamed so easily on stuff like Justin TV.

I'll use this site for accessing bbc2.com It works very good.

copy the IP Address and Port Number details & use them as your Manual Proxy Configuration for your browser's Connection Settings.

On friday we will try streams with u2 and use the same one for cp

Guys is there any easier way to watch this without a proxy thingy (I dont know what that is) and without having to download anything cuz I dont know what my computer is compatible with.... HELP!!!!

To be perfectly frank, no, I don't believe there is any easier way than to use a proxy.

This add-on is for Firefox, so not really any external software.

For me it works most times (Doctor Who for example :)),

 

1. just search with google for "free uk proxy list" or anything like that,

 

2. in the right down corner (sorry for this, I'm german :D) there should be an icon (an "H" in red)

 

3. right click it and a pop-up menu should open, left click on "Change Proxy List" or "Edit Proxy List"

 

4. and then just copy proxies from the google search you found into this list (into the http(s) list:

should look like this: 213.177.255.60:80 (long number = adress, : short number = port)

 

5. i usually restart firefox, don't know if that is necessary

 

6. right click the icon, and then select a proxy from http-proxys

 

7. adress + port should appear in the box

 

8. LEFT click the "H", and when it is GREEN, the proxy is active

 

9. now you just may have to try different proxies

Not sure about HD. But I'm sure the online stream will show the Pyramid Stage, it wouldn't make sense not to.
