What can you hear from the studiofeed in the new songs?

Featured Replies

Has this question been asked yet? If not, im surprised!!

In March Coldplay posted a video which was a mashup of new material.

Can you hear anything from the new songs within the studiofeed?

Heh. Funny that I was just thinking about this the other day.

After hearing the studio version of "Major Minus," I thought I recognised that the reverberated 'uhh-uh's' at around 2:20 and 2:28 sounded really similar to about 0:10 in the Studiofeed (where the boys are all standing around a microphone). When I compared the two, though, they didn't actually sound all that much alike -- I think it was just the reverberation that had me.

I want to hear the song that contains the piano from 0:08 to 0:11. Badly.

i'll post a video of it backwards since the other version was taken down

No, that's okay -- I checked out the reversed version. I can see how the sound is similar, but I wouldn't have related it to ETIAW.

ah I started to render it XD and we'll just have to wait and see

Oh. Thank you, anyway -- there's still a version on YT.

And I guess we will. Given the songs we've heard so far, it seems a lot of the Studiofeed features the different sounds and techniques the boys have been experimenting with.

Example: Charlie Brown; the intro is Chris's voice sped up and sounds amazing!

The haunting little piano piece Chris Martin played at the end of Trouble at the Liverpool crisis gig is the one thing I really want to know more about.

He has a lot of those...the end of Talk during the Viva la Vida tour o_o

I cannot wait to hear the studio version of "Charlie Brown". The intro is amazing.

Yeah -- the similar sound is there, but I'm thinking it's a different song. Or Chris just mucking around on the piano.

That might be a song, and the "xylophone" apears again

Speaking of Christmas, any ideas that the guitar song they used in the chartiy video might be a song?

Listen closely from 00:18 - 00:22 - Jonny's guitar part in Us against the world... 100 % :)

hahaha, I believe your right, and at the very end, doesn't it sound like Chris is saying "don't fuck it up"?

Hm, really? I am not hearing it.
