April 15, 200917 yr Hey, lurker here! I love Coldplay but since I discovered Radiohead not too long ago I've lurked around this thread a lot too.. :P I REALLY want to see Radiohead live, any Dutch people going to any of the gigs this summer? (I'm really bummed that they weren't announced for Lowlands this morning...)
April 15, 200917 yr Jamie Foxx Rips Miley Cyrus For Radiohead Diss Last week, Miley Cyrus caught flack for outing rock band Radiohead for not meeting her backstage at the Grammys. According to Us Magazine, the teen star, also known as Hannah Montana, threw a fit when she was denied access to the band, when they refused her request to meet them backstage at the Grammys. Mad, she blasted the group on radio, saying "I'm gonna ruin them, I'm gonna tell everyone." Oscar winning actor/singer Jamie Foxx weighed in on the news, via his SIRIUS Satellite Radio show "The Foxxhole," throwing some harsh verbal shots her way. "She's gonna ruin Radiohead's career?" he asked before ripping into the teen star. "Make a sex tape and grow up. Get like Britney Spears and do some heroin. Do like Lindsay Lohan, start seeing a lesbian, and get some crack in your pipe; catch Chlamydia on a bicycle seat." We're not ones to condone an obnoxious behavior, but did Jamie have to go that hard at her? After all, she's just 16 years old, especially when he has his own teenage daughter? What do you think? Sound off in the comments section below. In response to Miley, Radiohead said she needs to basically grow up: "When Miley grows up, she'll learn not to have a sense of entitlement." http://www.ballerstatus.com/2009/04/14/jamie-foxx-rips-miley-cyrus-for-radiohead-diss/

April 15, 200917 yr I think radiohead could have given her the chance (despite I hate her music) to meet them, but if they did not want (I understand them), Miley doesn't have to be that immature, she's an artist so she must understand (even if she wasn't) that you must not push people to do something if they don't want, and that you can't get all you want

I mean if I asked to meet a band and they said no, of course i'd be disappointed but I'd understand
April 15, 200917 yr yup I agree, it must be annoying being on a restaurant and having people around you not letting you eat
April 15, 200917 yr It's weird; I can't really pin ages on any of them. It's like they have the sort of musical experience and insight you get from being really old, but the novelty of a brand new band. Phoenixes, I say.
April 15, 200917 yr yeah I heard that. kinda harsh. Way too harsh. There was no need to insult her like that. Happy birthday, Ed! :nice:  Oh, btw - I'm going to Prague. A kind soul will sell their spare ticket to me. :nice:
April 15, 200917 yr Happy birthday, Ed, I hope you're having a good time, although I only listen to Radiohead for 2 months I am definitely in that black hole and I can't get out! (not like I want to...)
April 15, 200917 yr I have always liked Exit Music (For a Film), but I don't remember ever giving the song a lot of attention in particular for some crazy reason. Recently, though, I fell deeply in love. Such intense emotion... It's amazingly epic. The kind of epic emotion that gives one chills. ♥ I'm sure that you guys agree. Just wanted to mention that... Happy birthday, Ed! He does look SO much younger than he is.

Or actually, she still is. She's spoiled, and she acts like it too. If she doesn't 'get' what she asks for, she starts screaming for attention. I hate these kind of people. I couldn't agree more with Jamie Foxx. And you know what... I bet you guys Miley will one day become a drug addict, just as Foxx said. It's bound to happen to young stars. There are tons of examples, and Miley's no exception.
April 16, 200917 yr Austria ticket on its way  This is definitely the richest summer considering the concerts for me.
