Well, I don't really want to kick him out of here, it's good to have someone to freak out : guy, do you want suicide ? This is a topic about Radiohead, full of Radiohead fans and you say Coldplay are 100 times better than Radiohead, whereas anyone except you knows it's false !!!

 

I just read all of your posts and tried to think about you, and my conclusion is that you don't know anything about music and especially about alternative rock : COLDPLAY'S MUSIC IS A DAMN COPY OF RADIOHEAD'S !! Get this inside your damn brain !

 

I like, I love Coldplay, but they're just, like translating Radiohead's music into a language more understandable for people like you. You can't say Coldplay is better than Radiohead because it's false, like Crazy Frog is better than Elvis.

 

And just think that Radiohead were around long before Coldplay, and got a huge internationnal fame. They're far more famous than Coldplay, but in the world of people who know about music...

 

Then, don't think it's because an album sells that it's great, and don't think it's because an artist sells that he (or she)'s great : my god, the best artist ever is Michael Jackson (Thriller, 50 millions) ! I think I'm gonna kill myself !

i cannot see at all how coldplay are better than radiohead,ok coldplay were my absolute fav at one point,when i joined this board,but times change and now it's radiohead,they have lots more years experience,better lyrics,songs etc.i find some coldplay songs ok nowadays,but i havent listened to them in ages :confused: on the whole.

 

besides, why does more famous equal better quality? it doesnt, i find it better to like groups/artist who are lesser known,they are much more special then.

They're definitely not famous here... I know maybe 5 people who like them. I hear they're huge overseas, but in the States it's not quite the same.

ok they are famous in the music world....but in terms of media attention etc,not really, i mean you can see bands like coldplay and arctic monkeys in papers all the time,whether it be pictures of them with other halves or them in some kind of scandel......but you would never see radiohead members with their children/wives in papers,noone cares to follow them

Agreed, they arent really under the spotlight like other bands and i'm pretty much the only rh fan i know where i live gah its a shame.

Hah that's so weird. I mean, Radiohead is one of the most famous bands but somehow everybody says he's the only fan in his country :tongue:

I dont know many people here who know radiohead or like radiohead. But with the concert it was sold out it a few minutes :shocked2:..so i guess there enough fans here..dont know where they come from :P
