  • Lol I haven't been here in 5 years but I decided to pop my head back in for some nostalgia. Seems like this was my last post so here's an update... I finally saw Radiohead live in Manchester in 2017 a

Kid A is such a great album!

But Hail to the theif, OK Computer & Bends are even better, I think! :smug:

huh?

ok so i burned Kid A on a cd ill give it a listen tonight. thanks again Lera :)

I believe that was his opinion' date=' Nik..[/quote']

that was my opinion, too

right, so ive listened to Kid A. its not half as good as OKC if you ask me :P

i liked how to disappear completely ofcourse,Everything in its right place,Idioteque,In limbo and thats about it... the rest was quite weird and boring.. maybe it just takes time to get used to it. but for now ill stick to OKC.

*runs away to listen to Let Down*

^^

i think you're right, it just takes time to get used to the 'weirdness'

It takes quite a while actually. In order to get maximum effect out of Kid A, I listen to it in my car in the dark. Awesome sound and nothing to stimulate the senses except the music. It's truly a divine experience.

im telling you this is true love... Let Down

OKC > The Bends > Kid A > HTTT > Pablo Honey > Amnesiac

the order might change from time to time.

p.s. amnesiac is still a great album.

agreed it's better at night in a degree of silence and darkness

This is how I see it: OKC = The Bends = Kid A > Amnesiac > HTTT > Pablo Honey

I can never say which one of those 3 is better because it ends up changing like 10 seconds later. :)

For me it's Kid A > OK Computer > Amnesiac > The Bends > Hail To The Thief > Pablo Honey right now :anxious:

OKC > The Bends > Kid A > HTTT > Pablo Honey > Amnesiac

Bends-okc-kid a-pablo honey-amnesiac-httt

Since everyone's doing it.....I know my opinion will change moments later but here goes.

Kid A > Ok Computer > Amnesiac > Hail To The Thief > The Bends > Pablo Honey

Oh i don't know  The trouble is my opinion changes so much because i've lately listened to Ok computer, kid a and amnesiac....i like htth alot, and havent really listened to the bends for ages so i can't make my mind up about it.

mine is kida > okc > HTTT > amnesiac > the bends > pablo honey atm

the ending of How to Disappear completely puts me in some sort of deep trance :stunned:

kid a-amnesiac<-ok computer<-hail to the thie-the bends<-pablo honey (though i dont even listen to it)

Though I'd certainly agree that Kid A is their best album by far- probably the single most beautiful album I've ever heard- I actually like Amnesiac better. Am I crazy? (that's rhetorical by the way)

But the way I see it, it's like having really fancy silverware. You really don't want to use them every day. It feels akward like you should be sitting down to a fancy meal if you do, and they get all banged up and tarnished from over use. The second best set meanwhile can put up with day to day abuse and are probably more appropriate for kraft dinner, so you can pull out the good ones on special occasions and appreciate the artistry that went into them.

Kid A is full of variations on this one mood that gives the whole work this incredible feeling and artsy consistancy, but listening to it everday and getting put in that headspace does something to my head. Amnesiac has this great warmth and variety to it that Kid A doesn't. I really like it- it's less coherent, but more versatile as a result.

Does that make any sense, or is it just me?

yeah..i fell in love with amnesiac immediatly, though i tried to avoid it listening every single time, untill 2 moths ago..

it is a serious concurent to kid a.

amnesiac is like a beautiful story, that's how i see it...just beautiful..so many images in it...

btw guys..do you belive those leaks are real?
