Well supposedly they're in New York doing the mastering now, so I get the impression that the release date partially depends on whether or not they like the finished songs once they're mastered...

and they still don't have a record deal yet.. so there's that too. Not much you can do without a record label.. Other than what they are doing now..

Who says Radiohead need a record label, they are large enough to do it on their own without a major record label. Just signing up the distribution rights to get the record out on the shelfs

I'm sure they should be in talks with one or two majors by now.

Once they signed a new (probably one-off) record deal and the album's fully mastered, I'm sure they'll announce and release it very soon after that.

 

To think of it... Hail To The Thief had already leaked BEFORE it got mastered. That's why they kinda rushed that process at the time.

 

And... a new world tour! Woohoo!

They've already said before that they only want a distribution deal. But they may use one of the bigger indie labels too, like XL or Merge...
