wow, where did you find this code thing?

isn't that from Bodysnatchers?

Question for you.

Radiohead won't allow their albums to be sold (as single tracks) on online music stores like iTunes or 7digital as they say they want the album to be heard as a "single piece of music", which is fair enough as there is other bands out there who do the same

However, if they want people to listen to the album in full, why do they release singles?

Because singles are made to sell albums, just like advertising.

DAS UPDATE !!!!!

because everyone releases singles

Not every band releases singles.

Because singles are made to sell albums, just like advertising.

When why bother releasing the single, when radio play will do fine to promote the album?

If they wish to keep the album as a whole concept, so kids can't just pick and choose tracks they like which is what they are doing with making all the tracks on 7digital "album only". It just seems strange for them to go down the 2 paths at once.

Last hodiau is weird :

*septe22.jpgsepte22.jpgsepte22.jpgHere should be the picture, but it just won't display, and I don't know why*

In wormbuffet this is :

qmbvt jcmff ojbbc jmjua

which, with a letter <- letter-1 process gives :

plaus iblee niaab ilitz

I see the word "plausible" appear, but can't understand the rest...

Well, you know, maybe they recorded and mixed the album to make it sound a one-piece work, and will cut and edit some tracks to make them singles, in order to promote their album the ordinary way.

And what makes you so sure they're releasing singles ? There was no single off of Kid A.

This code thingy on the previous page instantly reminds me of X&Y.

I mean. It looks cool.... but if they use this for LP7 artwork the Coldplay reference will definitely be mentioned in every single review and magazine. And I'm pretty sure they will regret having used it.

Okay so the plaus iblee niaab ilitz thing could have meant "plausible deniability" and nobody's really sure what that means, but they either changed the code for that message because we cracked the code too quickly, or the square people are a font and when they were typing they just really f'd up the word 'deniability,' but today they used the old, normal code to post another message that says "might not operate properly", so maybe that was apologizing for yesterday's screw up....

Maybe they were going to give us the tracklisting, but since we cracked the code too early, they decided to give us a bunch of nonsense just to mess with us. Maybe they'll somehow fit some clues as to the tracklisting into it.. but as for the 'might not operate properly' I'm really guessing that they realized that giving all those RH fans massive headaches yesterday was just too cruel..

Not funny, Thom...why can't you just type like a normal person?

^ I guess thom likes making codes..so we have to discover piece by piece :D

I dont mind..Gives me something to do.

That's why Radiohead fans are smart :P
