There isnt really better stuff than the songs on The bends

Has anyone else had trouble with this or know what to do?

 

I never got around to getting an account on atease, which basically means I haven't been on since before in rainbows came out. But it won't let me register.

 

There's a field 9-1 that says "987654321" and it won't let you leave it blank or accept anything I can think of... :(

And of course Blow Out. THis song is fantastic. Better than several The Bends songs IMO (I'm thinking of MYL, Sulk and even Just sometimes)

 

 

I think Creep and Anyone can play guitar are very good from PH

My favourites from PH are Creep, Blow Out and You.

Radiohead has ended weeks of speculation by confirming it has struck a deal with British indie label XL Recordings for the physical release of its new album, “In Rainbows.”

 

The deal is expected to cover territories outside North America, leaving the band free to sign a separate deal there, but no further details have yet been made available.

 

A release date for the physical CD has also not been given, but sources suggest it will coincide with the Dec. 3 arrival of the “discbox” edition of “In Rainbows” available only from Radiohead.com. Others speculate it may not appear until next year.

 

The band broke the industry rulebooks when they made “In Rainbows” available for download on Oct. 10, with fans able to name their own price. No sales figures have been released, but the band’s manager Bryce Edge told Billboard recently that reports of 1.2 million were “exaggerated.”

 

London-based XL, which operates under the umbrella of the Beggars Group, last year released Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke’s critically lauded solo album, “The Eraser,” which was nominated for the annual Mercury Music Prize.

 

“Radiohead are a constant inspiration to us all, because they unfailingly put creativity first. XL is more than honoured to be working with Radiohead,” explained XL founder Richard Russell of the deal.

 

“Radiohead have created a huge amount of excitement via the unique way in which they launched this campaign online,” added the label’s Managing Director Ben Beardsworth. “‘In Rainbows’ is truly a classic album and it deserves to reach a massive audience, well beyond that of download and boxset sales. We will be working closely with them to help deliver that.”

yeah, atease is brutal to noobs.

MT'ers can be quite cruel as well, but if you don't make pointless threads (at least at first) and act friendly, they are way more accepting of newcomers than atease. i mean, there are actually quite a few popular characters there who registered for the first time only a few months ago.

but coldplaying is BY FAR the friendliest message board i've ever been to. :wacko:

I agree, coldplaying is by far the nicest board ever...it's so easy to make friends. But I'm not even a Rainbower on atease...I signed up like 10 days before In Rainbows was announced, i came with the return of hodiau in september.

I joined a few months ago but haven't really posted much. Just a little here and there.

But that's what makes that place unique I guess. People are nuts, threads are pointless and everybody's willing to call each other an asshole.

Its great when I post any of my opinions someone quotes me with dont take him seriously its COLDmarek and he likes Coldplay

but there are very nice and friendly people there too, especially in the multimedia section.
