  • Lol I haven't been here in 5 years but I decided to pop my head back in for some nostalgia. Seems like this was my last post so here's an update... I finally saw Radiohead live in Manchester in 2017 a

few more reasons why they should tour aus

- only 10 shows in aus in their history over 2 tours (1998 and 2004)

- In Rainbows debuted here at number 1

- we're one of the few countries where they are played on radio on a regular basis (not just Creep)

- WE LOVE THEM

^Yeah, those are valid reasons. They would definitely be successful.

Today on my FAVORITE radio station, that I've talked about on here before, played IDIOTEQUE. Wasn't as psyched as when they played There There, but I was still excited to hear them on the radio.

(does it happen to anyone else that when they're writing "radio" they just keep typing "hea.."?)

Maybe you Australians should get off your asses and hop to the U.S. for a show or two! They're only human beings!!

man, talk about some awesome radio stations... the only song i ever hear on the radio is house of cards... i wish there was more "deep cut" songs rather than the typical singles

I'm sure Thom wouldn't approve of the huge footprint that would leave on the environment!

Easier for them to go there :P

Plus students most likely couldn't afford a show like that. And I think that Radiohead have a huge fan base in the mid 20s college age kids.

Here's an ad I took a picture of for the radio station:

I love how out of all the Radiohead songs, they do Morning Bell! :D

Oh c'mon you know what I was saying

I hope they play in Europe this summer. I Will go visit my sister who got a summer job at Cern..

I always love how people go crazy on Creep even if they say they dont really like the song(obviously telling fake crap when they lie they dont really like Creep)

what.

I kind of see your point :\ It contributes to the idea that every Radiohead fan is a narrowminded elitist. (Because it's apparently not enough to like Radiohead. You have to like the right Radiohead songs, or you can't join the club!)

But there are some people who just don't like Creep, or fall out of love with it. That's a-okay; I don't think anyone should be judged for the music they listen to...

(This is why I like this thread >.> Everyone seems nice and genuinely interested in (gasp) appreciating Radiohead for their awesomeness.)

Yeah, it's like me telling everyone how much I hate Fix You (and in many ways I do), but I actually really enjoy it live.

Who what! :shocked2:

yes, she's a genius. I must have been adopted haha

I can't stand Creep as a general rule. I still think it would be a blast as a giant live singalong. And I would probably sing along at that point too.

idk...u guys have prolly seen this b4?? the whole Miley/ Radiohead beef.....??

I don't know whose idea that is, but I don't think liking certain songs make you more or less of a radiohead fan. Sure I may not be the biggest fan of Creep, but it was their first single, the song that got them started as a band. I would be excited as hell if they decided that after all these years they wanted to play it for us fans. I don't really think there is one song of Radiohead's where it's the most popular, and you're only really a fan if you like that one song. They're just not that kinda band.

As a Radiohead fan, I'm excited by the mere idea of Creep being played live.
