I dunno, it just didn't really impress me when I listened to it . I may go back to it again at some point. I like some of the songs off Hail To The Thief as well. And yes, I am a Gutless Wonder, hence my username!

  • Lol I haven't been here in 5 years but I decided to pop my head back in for some nostalgia. Seems like this was my last post so here's an update... I finally saw Radiohead live in Manchester in 2017 a

You should give it an another listen. :nice:

I'm honored

That doesn't mean I'm gonna suddenly fall in love with it mind! And no one will ever take the place of my boys, ever! :D

Don't be so sure.

You can be a Radiohead and a Manics fan at the same time.

Well I could but here is how the shelves where I stack my CD's work -

Manics, Clash, Echo & The Bunnymen, ELO, Idlewild, Rush, The Flaming Lips, REM (Top shelf)

Everything else (including Radiohead!) goes on the bottom shelf.

Yeah.

Manics, REM, Echo&The Bunnymen, The Flaming Lips...

dunno if you guys know but Thom will be on a compilation album of Mark Mulachy covers:

Radiohead's Thom Yorke, R.E.M.'s Michael Stipe, ex-Pixies' Frank Black, The National, Dinosaur Jr. and nearly two dozen other artists have contributed exclusive recordings to tribute album "Ciao My Shining Star: The Songs of Mark Mulcahy."

The 21-song set will be released via Shout! Factory on Sept. 29, with proceeds to directly aid songwriter Mulcahy, who has been raising his twin daughters by himself since his wife Melissa died in September 2008.

Other talents include Vic Chesnutt, Mercury Rev, Josh Rouse, Frank Turner, Ben Kweller, Juliana Hatfield,

Artists like A.C. Newman, Laura Viers and Buffalo Tom also lent a hand to a bonus set of "Ciao" covers, available digital-only.

Mulcahy is the former frontman of Miracle Legion and started the band Polaris, which was better known as the house for TV series "The Adventures of Pete & Pete" from 1993-1996. His latest album is 2005's "In Pursuit Of Your Happiness."

The tribute album's namesake is currently being streamed on Mulcahy's MySpace site.

what's really interesting about this is that both Thom and his brother (Andy) will be appearing on this album. Thom's brother is the lead singer in the band "Unbelievable Truth"

Micheal Stipe, Thom Yorke, Andy Yorke, The National and Frank Black :wideeyed:

Thanks for the info :)

ok... atease member wonsaponatime is sending a message to Thom for him to play a song at his solo gig. The song is titled "Whatever Happens" and is only known by it appearing as an image in the scrapbook for radiohead.com

He is trying to get signatures to have Thom see how interested we are in, in hearing this song. So if you guys can here's the petition link to sign. Also included there is a download link to a project in which members of atease tried to make their own version of the song just from the image of the lyrics and chords.
