Listening to the Glasto versions of Street Spirit and Karma Police makes me miss the Bends and OKC days. I like everything that Radiohead has done, but I prefer the more "guitar based" stuff compared to all the electronic gadgetry they use now. I know they probably won't go retro, but it wouldn't bother me one bit.

Over the past year or so, I've written and recorded an album which I've called Familial. It will be released on Bella Union on 30th August, except for USA and Canada, where it will be released on 31st August through Nonesuch.

Gosh Phil's music is actually good. I had no idea he could sing really, he should back up vocals instead of Ed (except in Karma Police and Lucky). Oh wait he does in There There, but very lightly.

Hey I wanted your guys advice on something....I wanna learn how to play guitar but I don't know where to start... Like what guitar should I get? What's the best way to learn and so on

^it really depends. when it comes to starting out I would start off with a cheaper guitar (in the $100 range). The reason why is because you don't want to spend so much money on a guitar whenstarting off because you don't know if it will continue to hold your interest over time.

 

If you get an electric I say go with a fender squire. If it's an acoustic I'm not sure. Perhaps carlo robelli (though they kind of suck in general), or an epiphone acoustic. I honestly would ask someone at a music store.

 

In terms of learning I guess the best way would be to get lessons. I never got lessons but learned on my own by using tabs. So if you want to learn on your own go online to sites like ultimate-guitar and 911tabs any just try to learn songs you want to play.
