Radiohead

don't know if this has been posted:

According to someone on Atease (who seems to be reliable), a professional jazz musician friend of his has done some recording with Radiohead...horns!

This is what she wrote:

"Hehe. Well, what can I say... They were all really lovely, down-to-earth people. Plus they are real musicians! One is a closet trumpet player! They're very influenced by Alice Coltrane so the music we recorded was very dreamy, soundscapey sort of stuff. They were very easy to talk to and very friendly! X"

  • Lol I haven't been here in 5 years but I decided to pop my head back in for some nostalgia. Seems like this was my last post so here's an update... I finally saw Radiohead live in Manchester in 2017 a

So in 30 minutes I'll be 18 and I'm thinking of getting a Radiohead tattoo. Suggestions, ideas, comments, GO.

I'm thinking of something like "Immerse your soul in love"

Tattoos look so trashy.

Often times yes. But they can look good if you do it right. Take Dominic Monaghan for example:

Two things I've never understood: Tattoos and bumper stickers. I'm not against either; they are just not for me.

not really a fan of getting tattoos.

but something like that would work i guess. or perhaps the radiohead bear or downis the new up symbols/images

someone on Mortgi Tempo talked to Nigel about LP8. Looks like we'll most likely have to wait until 2011, but you never know!

yes i'm still in shock. I've been a huge fan of radiohead for 15 years now...I went to see a band called Here We Go Magic on friday night in Paris, and he was there too...i took a deep breath and I said hi. He is extremely kind and friendly, we talked a bit because my band opened for Charlotte Gainsbourg the night before and he was there since he worked on her first album.

AND I said to him: "well i have to ask you something...Is the new album ready??" He laughed and said that Ed always do that kind of annoucement too early...apparently they worked a lot lately, and they're quite happy with the songs, but Nigel said that the record probably won't be out this year, though they'd like to. According to him it will be 2011. But everything's possible cause he said that everyone in the band would love to put it out as soon as possible.

i thought you 'd be happy to know that.

from atease

I was at the Charlotte Gainsbourg show on friday night and Andi (Radiohead light engineer) was there (working).

My friend went and talked to him a bit after the show and when he asked him to keep him a setlist at the next Radiohead show he said "ok, next year maybe"
