I love how the drums become muted and they have to stop the whole song.

And I love how Will continues drumming even when he's not suppose to during the bridge and which leads to a whole different version of In My Place.

 

It's just awesome seeing how the band deals with huge mistakes like this.

A Coldplay gig wouldn't be complete without a "mess up". I wouldn't even be surprised if they do it deliberately nowadays, for effect!:lol:

I actually like it, as it shows they're totally human, not "gods".:cool:

i had never really noticed how awesome Jonny's guitar part is live until i saw this. :P

And I know Chris usually messes up at least once every show but I want to see videos of huge mistakes that make the band stop the song and try again like this one.

It just really shows how great they are. The show must go on :P :)

It's remarkable how they manage to continue as if nothing have happened after they fuck up! I mean, they act as if they are playing to some family and friends when they are playing in some important festivals and gigs, they fuck up, they laugh about it, make some joke, and they continue with the show as if nothing have happened! That's what's great about them! :P

And in sao Paulo Brazil gig,it was Chris Bday and during politik ( before lovers in Japan) a confetti machine shot the butterflies and Chris got mad and changed a part of politik lyrics for " don't fuck it up ". :lol:

I think it was in Toronto in 2005 that there was a problem with a guitar during Yellow and Chris chased a tech across the stage with the guitar in the air,lol. I'd love to see video of that!!

hahah yeah, I think his ear piece that plays everything else back stopped working, and once you rely on that for so long, you can really lose the beat/ flow of the song. his face was like....."Oh shit." have any of you read Roadie's book? it talks about the drummer tech, whose nick name is "bash" hahahahaa. What a sweet name for a drummer tech

In the "In My Place" mess up in original post, I love how Chris stops the song and kind of laughs and with a smile of his face asks Will "Whats the problem?" or something but then Will says something and Chris stops smiling, puts his arm out and says, "Oh, ok ok ok."

Will must have been pissed and said something like "I CAN'T FUCKING HEAR"
