I'm in that weird space between being a child and a grown-up

Hah, thanks. I haven't had much to say on the forum lately. Mostly done a little lurking and not said much the past few days.

But at the moment I'm having an existential crisis, so to Coldplaying I go!

I wish I could be either/or, instead of this weird blend of both, because it feels like I've been a weird blend of both for EVER, and I'm tired of it. I want to either go back to being a kid or get to be a serious business grownup or something.

When you get to be a serious grownup, you'll wish you were in this weird space again.

That's what everyone tells me. But it's so uncomfortable here xP

just think that probably all grown-up felt that way some time, plus is not a matter of age but of maturity or will, if you feel like a grown-up or a kid then act like it no matter what a number says.

althought true at times age matters, as in family meeetings.

for instance i remember it took me a long time to get in the adults table at family meeting, even when i was more mature, but as i'm a girl i had to take care of the small kids. :dozey:

plus when i was around 14 everybody told me i seemed like an adult, now at times i feel as a crazy teenager at random :uhoh: i guess then i'm a weird blend of both yet, but i don't care much.

i exactly know how you feel. I'm 17 (nearly 18), currently in my first year of uni and i either want to be independent and get a good job or go back to being a kid again. aha, it feels weird...

Your issue sounds similar to mine, although mine is a general all-round identity crisis.
