DR strings

Anybody know if DR strings actually last longer due to the circular core or whatever it is that's so special about them? Also whatever Chris uses on his acoustic, I always noticed they look very gold :P

Circular core? They just sound nice

I care actually the type of strings makes a big difference. obviously you dont play guitar if strings has no meaning to you.
