Nine arena shows announced, pre-sale for Coldplay's online fans

 

Good morning. We're very pleased to report that Coldplay will play nine arena shows across the UK, France, Germany, Holland and Belgium in December.

 

There will be a special ticket pre-sale for Coldplay online fans for each of the shows. To access it, click the links below at the date/time stated and enter the code MYLOXYLOTIX. The general sale will begin on Friday morning for all shows.

‘Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends’, het album waarmee Coldplay zichzelf nog groter op de kaart zette, is drie jaar oud. De groep vond, met de hulp van producer Brian Eno, nieuwe artistieke wegen. Meer volk dan ooit tevoren wandelde graag met hen mee. Het album brak vele verkoopsrecords. De begeleidende tournee duurde bijna twee jaar en telde 172 speeldata op vijf continenten.

 

Het is niet dat Coldplay tot nu van vakantie heeft genoten. Echt stil is het nooit geweest in de tijd naar het volgende album. De tiende verjaardag van debuut ‘Parachutes’ werd gevierd. Chris Martin en co brachten een kerstsingle én een zomersingle uit en speelden geweldige concerten op de grote zomerfestivals (o.a. Rock Werchter 2011). Intussen werd er in de studio gewerkt met producers Markus Dravs, Daniel Green en Rik Simpson. Ook Brian Eno was present voor ‘aanvullende composities’. Op 9 september tweet Roadie#42 dat het album klaar is. Op 24 oktober ligt het in de winkel.

 

‘Mylo Xyloto’ – spreek uit: my-low-zy-letoe – is de titel van het vijfde album van Coldplay. Het telt 14 songs, waaronder het reeds gekende ‘Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall’ en de nieuwe single ‘Paradise’. Op het album staat eveneens de song ‘Princess Of China’, een duet met Rihanna.

 

Coldplay sluit 2011 af met een korte tournee. Op zondag 18 december staan Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman en Will Champion in het Sportpaleis.

 

Kaarten kosten 54, 64 en 69 euro, inclusief servicekosten.

Don't think I'll be there... I don't know how I will get there, I don't know who will want to come with me, I already saw them at Werchter this year and I don't like the new material that much anyway.

De pre-verkoop met paswoord begint donderdag om 9 uur.

De echte verkoop zonder paswoord begint vrijdag om 9 uur.

 

Aangezien wij het paswoord kennen, begint de voorverkoop voor ons donderdag.

Geen idee hoeveel tickets er beschikbaar zullen zijn dan.

Mayble only on thursday you can buy 2 and friday 6 or something...
