I looked at both cafepress and spreadshirt to see what the design options are:

Cafepress: there is only a limited amount of space on the shirt to place an image. If you decide to have a smaller image at the bottom, it is not possible.

Prices: I picked the standard American Apparel shirt: 27$ + shipping or 23.50€ + shipping

Spreadshirt: there is a printable area on the full front of the shirt, which makes it possible to use a smaller image at the bottom. However, additional images result in extra costs. There is also an option to print on the sleeve for those who would like a username for example.

Prices: Prices vary on the type or brand of shirt you pick, but they seem lower than at cafepress.

I'm also a bit worried about the blurriness on the edges of the design and if it will turn out ok :\

The prices on cafepress are high...and that's before you put any sort of mark-up on them. Spreadshirt sounds like a better option. :)

The only reason Isuggested cafepressis that there is/was a Coldplaying shop. Still digging fordetails, but even without it, we can useSpreadshirt.

They also have buttons, which I personally quite like.

I'll see if I can figure out how to set up a coldplaying shop.

Edit: there already seems to be a coldplaying spreadshirt shop (http://coldplaying.spreadshirt.co.uk/) Anyone have any idea if it is ours?

"This product has not been found". Yes, please, any idea the origins of it? Ian?

It would be cool, and in the spirit of Coldplay, to donate some of any extra proceeds to the CCC, and I'm trying to find the people who got it going. Give me a day or so of digging...I'm going back 5 years, and most aren't even on here anymore, lol.

After a bit of searching on the forum it seems it is a real coldplaying shop. I'll send Ian a pm to see if we can still add anything there.

The donation thing is a very cool idea, I like it. :)

I've posted a new thread in the CCC forum to try and re-assemble info/passwords/organizers, plus I've sent a few pm's and FB messages. Let's see if we can't get some new Tees and help some charities while we're aat it! Thanks for your help! :D

I was only looking for a litle signal at gigs, but this thread has grown into something amazing. Coldplay fans really ARE the best! :)

just catching up on this thread, great idea! :D

I don't think we've ever used spreadshirt so I don't think that is ours, but we can help with t-shirt sales at our online shop if necessary with charity cuts, its where we sold our Wembley tees http://www.cafepress.com/Coldplaying :)

^ Those shirts are pretty cool too. :surprised: :wacky:

At last! Thanks, Ian. :)

Ok, so here we go with some altered designs and a new one. I also added the .com after coldplaying. Last one is a little bit simpler and can be in any colour combination you like. Somehow I ended up unconsciously with the colours on coldplay.com

And thank you on the help with the shop thing Ian :)

They're amazing :wacky:

Just wondering if these shirts were to become available online, would we be able to put our username instead of member on them? I love the third one!

ok, the good news is we can use the coldplaying shop :D (thanks Ian and Jen), the bad new is the current ideas probably get refused because of copyright infringements. Back to the drawing board it is.

Unfortunately cafepress doesn't offer any customization when ordering...at least I haven't found any yet.

Here we go with some new ones. Since the coldplay-font will probably be rejected because of copyright, I threw it out of the window.

For the yellow fans :)

Or I could move the text below the butterfly like in the last one I made. (I'll try that tomorrow)

Any fans of these?

Great! I need a design for a poster that you can read from a live stream:P

As far as I know Home meade fonts that are eerily similar but with different names usuallyg et around copyright laws unless people are really watching.

oooh, i think these ones look the best.

(particularly the yellow one. :P)

I'm a fan of all of them. :)

And the last batch...I actually forgot to include something quite important (for which we voted massively)

These last 2 include a modified version of the current coldplay font, which hopefully doesn't have a copyright problem. Since this font are basically just geometric shapes it's quite hard to make it into something else.

So, do I have to keep making these or could we perhaps have a poll included in this thread?

I love these. Like your other design, I would gladly wear this out.
