De Britste rockgroep Coldplay zal de platina plaat, die ze vandaag in Antwerpen overhandigd kregen voor hun nieuwste album Mylo Xyloto, veilen voor Music for life. De plaat is gesigneerd door alle leden van Coldplay.

 

Net na 18 uur sprak Siska Schoeters via een videoverbinding met Chris Martin en Jon Buckland van Coldplay. De topband speelt vanavond in het Sportpaleis in Antwerpen.

 

Toen Siska vroeg wat de heren van Coldplay van Music for life vinden, antwoordde Chris: “Incredible! Well Done...” Hij wenste de Glazen Huisbewoners dan ook veel succes met de actie. In ruil voor het veilen van hun platina plaat, mocht Coldplay een verzoeknummer aanvragen. Het werd Pumped Up Kicks van Foster The People.

 

Bieden op de platinaplaat kan vanaf morgenochtend om 9 uur.

The Britischrock band Coldplay will auction the platinum disc, which they were presented today in Antwerp for their latest album, Mylo Xyloto, for Music for Life. The disc is signed by all members of Coldplay.

 

Just after 6 o'clock Siska Schoeters spoke via video with Chris Martin and Jon Buckland of Coldplay. The band is playing tonight at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp.

 

When Siska asked what the gentlemen of Coldplay thought about Music for Life , Chris replied: "Incredible! Well Done ... "He wished the Glass House residents the best of luck with the action. In exchange for the auctioning of their platinum album, Coldplay was allowed to request a song. It was Pumped Up Kicks Foster The People.

 

Bidding on the platinum disc starts tomorrow morning at 9 am.
