the whole album is awesome. love it. i'm waiting patiently for my actual copy .. hopefully will receive it tomorrow :)

It says the video for Knights will be released on the 11th on Wikipedia, but who knows if that's right.

The artist jumped +2 to be at 6th overall in listens behind Red Hot Chili Peppers, Radiohead, Coldplay, the Beatles and Death Cab. Their tracks are leaping all over the top 100 this week also, just look.

It sounds much closer to Origin than Absolution did, while it brings in a whole new sound with it.

Ummm, I take great offense to that. It should have it's own sound, NOT try to be a pallid rehash of a successful previous effort.

 

(And yes, I AM being defensive about Absolution as well, since that's the album that got me into Muse :rolleyes: )

i took a bit of offence to that too.

it doesn't sound like oos in my opinion. which is a good thing, because it has its ownnnn style.

it's fabulloouuusss. you can expect nothing less from muse.

i didnt mean to offend anyone, i am a muse fan too, been listening to them for a quite a long time now, but there is a huge difference between Absolution and origin of symmetry, i prefered how they played their music in origin much much more than Absolution, I regard origin of symmetry to be much more mature than Absolution, i just meant that i hope they focus more on creating unique music in this new album, thats all. Sorry if I offended anyone, Ive never posted before on this thread, hope I havent bothered anyone of you. And by the way Voxxyn (Welcome to the board :) ) Absolution is also the album that go me into Muse but later on when I heard Origin, I preferred it much more.

 

Anyways, I did listen to it last night and it is amazing, I felt it was a bit short tho, Knight of Cydonia is definatly my favorite, its amazing! The opening track sounds exactly like something Muse would do, its like they've developed this very unique style that they've been marked with in their music, its amazing. My other favorites are Starlight, Map of Problematique, Exo-Polotics.

i wish i'd have pre-ordered my copy earlier cause they're making me wait for it .. bloody company ... ! ... ah well i'll keep listening to Absolution in the mean time .. talk about a build up (i know i've already heard BHAR but you know i want it on CD!)
