Megalomania
^ Brandon Flowers for only $25?! We had them at £27 which wasn't bad... But they sold out so quickly and resale values were from £60-£80 :o That's a shame you couldn't go though! We can get unknown bands for about £10... Bands with 2/3 albums can be about £20-£30 (I saw Vampire Weekend for £21)... And then the bigger bands can be £40-£60. The most expensive I've seen recently was KoL at the O2 which was £67-- I couldn't believe that considering I'd seen them at Hyde Park for £45 only six months earlier. I know, I was so bummed I couldn't go. :disappointed: I don't think he sold out the gig, I checked the day of it and there were still tickets on sale (it was all GA too ;__;) That's pretty good for Vampire Weekend. Oh wow, that's a lot of money! :o What made the prices go up so far for KoL?! :cheesy: That sounds so awesome! :D hahaha Matt really love his bananas  It was. :wacky: And yes, he really does. If there is in fact reincarnation, he will be reborn as a monkey.

Wow, he didn't sell out? :stunned: He sold out all his dates here like whoaaa. I wanted to get tickets for my brother for an early Christmas present but no matter how much my brother means to me, £80 was wayy out of my price range. I find it odd that there was an age minimum. What was it? (Because he doesn't strike me as a parental guidance type of solo-artist). It was a good price and a generally insane gig because it had been snowing all day-- so we'd all been pretty worried it wasn't going to go ahead. I ended up getting a snow chained bus down-- but whilst we were in there, it snowed heavier and so they cancelled the buses. I ended up walking 3 miles home in the snow. I don't really know, the new album maybe? But Hyde Park in the summer sold out incredibly fast so I guess they thought they could capitalise on that. I think the Hyde Park gigs this year are back down at £50 in price... So my Dad and I are going (if I don't have exams :P)

Nattatouille
matt with fluffy hair Fluffy hair Matt is soo cute. :smug2: All I want to do is ruffle it. dmuse
^ None, I don't think that will see the light of day. also I don't know if it's been discussed but does anyone know what part of Politik Matt helped to write for Chris? I'm kinda thinking it's the beginning since it seems like something Matt would write. I also ask why you think that? Muse have been pretty reliable on releasing Tour DVD's & BtS stuff (unlike Coldplay). I doubt they would just stop doing it now at the peak of their career (so far). As for Politik... I've never really thought about it. I'm going to give it a couple of listens now to see what I can deduce. Seems weird to think Muse and Coldplay were like, BFF's, at one point.
dmuse
Because it's been about a year (23/01/2010) since they announced making this documentary and there has been no updates since then concerning it. Plus Chris said "we'd like to do something more along the lines of a touring documentary as opposed to just a live gig this time, we've done that three or four times. " I think fans just assumed it was going to happen. I would love for them to release one but it just doesn't seem to me like it's going to happen. they still are BFFs :P I wish Coldplay and Muse toured together again. I mean to think Coldplay supported Muse during the Showbiz/Parachutes era :wacky:

I wrote this exact thing on Twitter :laugh3: I think they will release one, but maybe not until mid this year. It would be awesome if they could make a whole DVD with the 360 degree camera like the christmas present. :awesome: I think you're right. Even if it doesn't end up documentary style... I'd imagine there would be a Resistance Tour DVD at least. I mean, they have to put those 360 cameras to use (because yeah... They're not cheap at all). Hysteria
they always release their DVDs after a year of their tour ending:shrug: Yeah, HAARP came out about 10 months after the actual gig, so if we go by that then we could expect a DVD out in maybe October/November. I think you're right. Even if it doesn't end up documentary style... I'd imagine there would be a Resistance Tour DVD at least. I mean, they have to put those 360 cameras to use (because yeah... dmuse
Ok you guys have restored my faith <3 Still if they gave us an update that would be great. I can't imagine them taking a year off without releasing nothing. Hopefully it'll be like hullabaloo and pack awesome B-sides. Not like Neutron Star Collision.
Nattatouille
I'd imagine that if they're doing a whole tour rather than Wembley exclusive (like there was the suggestion) we'd be looking at next December. If not... We could get it as early as mid-year. Ahhhh B-sides would be :awesome: But I'd be happy with either HAARP or Hullabaloo type tbh. I won't be getting my hopes up though. I'll just rely on Coldplay LP5 to come out in June

BigtuxXblue
Really? That would be awesomeee. I hope it is true too! I can give you a link from one of these radio (one of the biggest french pop rock radio), but it's in french ! It's the last sentences. This one in particular : "Sachez enfin que Muse sortira au printemps prochain un DVD live de leur dernière tournée mondiale." It says (approximately ^^) : You have to know that Muse will release their new live dvd of their last tour next spring. http://www.virginradio.fr/#/Programmes/Virgin-Radio-News/News/SCOOP-Muse-prepare-un-concert-dans-l-espace The article is about the gig in the space! I think they won't have too much crowd ^^
Nattatouille
^ Ahh the space article. Twas on NME. Couldn't help but laugh at it. Matt is so out there :awesome: Oh wow, thanks for the translate. I hate to admit it, but I'm rubbish at French :shame:. I barely passed it at GCSE.

That's rubbish! I guess that sort of explains it. If it's any consolation I wouldn't be able to go either if I was in Americas. It's just because we gamble and drink earlier I can get up to all sorts :P I was slightly freezing. But I did it again the following night for Bombay Bicycle Club so I'm a sucker for punishment :laugh3: If we got a whole tour DVD I'd be so happy! :freak: (because then there's a possibility of CE at Newark on there). I'd like to see the arena set-up at work because it's always interested me how it works, y'know? I want something new and all. New Muse would help top this year off  (I mean, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, U2, Shake Aletti, BBC.... ect.)
