I have a question. Would it be odd to get a channel on the radio from Quebec...when your all the way in Michigan? Because honestly, I keep getting this one channel where it sound's like French is being spoken.

if you listen to am radio really early in the morning, you can get stuff from thousands of miles away, because am stations are allowed to broadcast with a higher wattage from like 12-5 am or something like that. the higher power allows the radio waves to actually reflect off of the atmosphere and come back down thousands of miles away. or at least that's what i think happens...

 

i've listened to radio broadcasts from alabama, chicago, and atlanta here in philadelphia, so i know i'm not completely making this up. :rolleyes:

I LISTEN, ON THE MORNINGS, TO A RUSSIAN RADIO STATION (I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE SAYING) AND I LISTEN TO THE BBC1 OR BBC2 SOMETIMES OPN THE AFTERNOON (WELL IT DEPENDS BECAUSE THE'SIGNAL' KEEPS CHAMGING) AND I HAVE A RADIO FROM MARROCCO TOO....... I HAVE AN OLD WAGE SIGNAL RADIO (OLD ONES) THAT'S WHY I GET THEM... NORMALLY THE RADIOS USE THE LONG WAVE SYSTEM, BUT THERE ARE SOME EXCEPTIONS, OR THE RADIO MIGHT JUST GET IT FROM 'SOMEWHERE ELSE' :lol:
