You're welcome :). Yeah, out of everyone on the list, Coldplay's definitely who I listen to the most and I love them, obviously. But many of the artists in my post there DO have some excellent music of their own as well, based on what I have heard from them (notably Fiona Apple, Jack White, the Black Keys, and Mumford & Sons). So I would highly recommend checking them out a bit to those who may not be as familiar with their work.

EW, at first, tell me who the fuck are Drake, Carrie Underwood, Jack White, The Black Keys, Mumford & Sons, The Civil Wars, A$ap Rocky, Fiona Apple, Jake Owen, Fun, Azealia Banks and what are they doing above Coldplay

 

Okay no. How have you not heard of Jack White, The White Stripes or The Black Keys?

 

While I love all of them, I still enjoy Coldplay as well the best. But, if you don't know who these bands are you cannot say they are better. :)

Kings of Leon broke up?

 

 

 

Drake: Hip-hop artist. Was on the TV show "Degrassi".

Carrie Underwood: Country singer. Won "American Idol" a number of years ago.

Jack White: Originally in the band the White Stripes.

The Black Keys: Blues-y, alternative rock duo.

Mumford & Sons: British folksy type act.

The Civil Wars: Also folksy, sorta country-ish.

Fiona Apple: Singer-songwriter, has been around since 1996. Sort of the Adele of the '90s, perhaps, if you will (first album came out at age 19). Has only released 3 albums in that time frame so far, though, but she does have a new one coming out this year.

 

The rest I either don't know or, in the case of Fun, have only heard one song by and can't really describe them well.

 

Yeah kings of Leon broke up, the lead singer walked off stage in the middle of a gig after saying how hard it is to be famous and that he doesn't get along well with the band, really hope they get back together, or at least do a reunion tour in the future!!
