I managed to get my hands on Broken Jaw/Ruby by Foster The People! That was a great find! Unfortunatley my record store didn't buy Coldplay, The Flaming Lips, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds 12" (I think it was U.K only anayways), or R U Mine....

 

Still, I'm glad I got to cross Foster The People off my list!:D

My record store only got in half of their order since we're so far north. Gonna pick up Harrys Gym on Wednesday :nice: No Elbow, tho.

Things I wish weren't the case for Record Store Day:

 

1. I wish I didn't have to stay home and puppysit.

2. I wish the nearest store wasn't 1 1/2 hours away.

3. Even if the record store in question was much closer, I wish I felt confident enough in it to believe it would actually have something I wanted. Alas, knowing the area in which I live, I find this highly unlikely.

I'm actually happy how good I made out at my first ever Record Store Day! I didn't get the Arctic Monkeys record at my store, either. Sorry to all the people that couldn't get the Coldplay 7". I was actually lucky my store had three copies, but unlucky that there was a one per title per customer rule, so I couldn't sell them to you guys. :( (Plus, there was a woman behind me in line that wanted it too, besides me and my friend!!)

People might want to contact their local stores as some stores have received extra stock.

 

I just picked up a copy of Coldplay's 'Up With The Birds/U.F.O' and Arctic Monkey's 'R U Mine?' because they had a delivery an hour ago.
